Selling Old Computers, Printers, Phones

I've got an old printer that's busted and can't find the warranty, as well as an old laptop that doesn't really work, and cliche cliche, two old iphones - I know that the iphones can be sold for obviously a horribly low price - but what about the laptops and printer? Does anyone know anywhere where I can sell them for whatever price?

  • Old printers are usually recycled as they are usually not worth money.
There appears to be a bit of a floor for old laptop prices.
It really depends on lots of things, but they rarely go for less than $100.
Gumtree or eBay are probably good options, but pawn shops will be faster.

Printers are heavily subsidized by the cost of replacement toners. Toner's cost more than the printer so the printer itself is worthless.

What is with the low quality posts tonight?

You are seemingly happy to sell off the iPhones, but only enquire about a selling channel for the broken laptops and printer? Can't you just use Facebook, Gumtree, eBay?

  • Facebook marketplace/classifieds for the iphones and laptop, bin the printer.

I can come over your place and take them from you.. where do you live again?

I highly doubt anyone would be willing to buy the printer and laptop off you. I’d just leave them with an ewaste recycler. Many office works places will take them for free.

Just list them on the normal places and be VERY clear about the status and working condition. You'll move them

  • I've about to throw out a shitload of these things. I took a drill to the HDD and will drop off at e-waste section of the dump.
While the idea of refurbishing it or selling is great, it's quite time consuming.

  • Depending on the age of the laptop, I got more for the power supply on ebay than i did for the actual laptop.
