$8 Tickets to Palace Central Cinema Sydney NSW for Chinese New Year Feb 16- Feb 24

50

Will have to update the deal as more information comes to light but as per the Timeout website:

They're not showing any Chinese films right now, but Chippendale's newest cinema is still getting into the spirit of the Lunar New Year by offering $8 movies for a lucky eight days, February 16 to 24.

Hot on the heels of their $5 Oscar movie offer (which ends on Wednesday February 7), the Palace Central's new offer will give you the chance to see new releases such as Black Panther (pictured) and Fifty Shades Freed (if that's what floats your boat) for a very cheap price – Palace Platinum screenings excluded.

Other vendors in Central Park Mall will be offering $8 promotions for eight days too. They include $8 Churros at Coco Cubano and an $8 combo deal at Top Juice. Two traditional lion dances will take place too, on Friday February 16 at 6.30pm and Saturday February 24 at 12.30pm.

This is part of Lunar New Year Deals for 2018

Have to note that the cinemas have small screens in comparison to Event/Dendy/Hoyts. Went for the $5 deal a few days prior.

  • went for the $5 deal over the weekend. Seats/screen are small. Would not pay more than $8 to watch tbh.

    I work for Palace Central,

The cinemas are boutique yes, but still far bigger than the usual home TV (And 4k!) and a great night out. I think there is something magic about the Cinema and would really love you to come and check it out. Its $8 too, so you can get it for a steal.

Come see the new Marvel film.

    Marketing Copy below:
Showing the highly anticipated, final instalment of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, the crime thriller Molly’s Game starring Jessica Chastain and Kevin Costner. Hitting the big screen just in time for the Lunar New Year is the must-see Black Panther by Marvel Studios and the Chinese fantasy adventure movie, Monkey King 3: Kingdom Of Women.

    • is it without booking fee if purchased directly on site? $2.6 for online booking seems ridiculous considering how it eliminates the human service element and is processed electronically :(
