    What a strangely specced device.

    1366 x 768 screen is too bad

    • Yeah a 1366 x 768 resolution on a 15" screen just isn't very good (the same as my cheap laptop bought over a decade ago).

    • Can be ok if the panels are good quality - colours, contrast, view angle

      I hated a 1366x768 on a 10" screen.
Surely this is a typo, no way any sane person would suggest this res for a 15" screen.

    • And the battery, unless this is a typo, it won't get 7 hours from a cellphone sized battery:

      Approx 7 hours. 4-cell 3220 mAh Li-Polymer

  • This is pretty good for the price isn't it?
There's nothing like this from JB hifi/Harvey norman is there?
I have to buy from JB hifi/TGG/Harvey norman ;(

Another product of the marketing department. They made all the specs that customer will check 1st to look good (e.g. cpu, ram, hdd). And everything else that is usually more obstructed - absolute garbage.

    • Would you recommend this? I have to get a laptop from TGG/JB HI FI or Harvey norman. Best value for money the cheaper the better… $750 MAX

      • Yes, if you are planning to use it (1) as stationary computer (2) with external screen (3) with upgraded HDD to SSD. It wouldn't sustain much abuse as portable laptop and is going to be painfully slow with it's spinning HDD.

Yes. ~150 more for 1080p display, ssd (small tho and no mechanical storage) and MX150 which performs better than the 950M (deal has a 940M). For the price the deal is pretty good considering its new stock, but if one had an extra 150 bucks i'd go for this.

  • Great value for the price, but would personally spend the extra $200-$300 for a better screen + SSD.
