    Check out this forum http://budgetlightforum.com/forum/batteries/chargers for reviews don't think they compare it to the D4 but they do compare it to the LiitoKala Lii-500. The C4 and Lii-500 are both analysing chargers and can charge 4 bays at 1A the D4 can only charge 2 bays at a max of 750mA. I could be wrong but when I was doing my research 750mA is too low to charge AA as NiMh batteries don't show the -dV/dT effect unless the charge rate is greater than 0.3C which leads to overcharging especially as batteries get older.
