I have a reminder every three months to bring all active Eneloops to work with my La Crosse BC-700. Ozbargain subscription saved.

    • +1

      How many eneloops you have?

      • +2

Active about 30 mix of AA and AAA.

Yet to be opened….a bit more.

        • You're disgrace. Must have more than 1000 eneloops to be true ozbargained :)

        • @BrodenIt:

I am only a white belt.

All last year I switched to hoarding Energizers rechargeables instead whilst using $10 officeworks voucher.

    • I don't know anything about batteries: Why do you do this?

I thought modern ones didn't have much worries, I've been just charging them with my "Panasonic BQ-CC17 Advanced" then leaving them in the draw/device… is that wrong?!

      • +1

I assume she or he does it so that work pays for the power to recharge them.

  • +2

Another deal from DL, they are going gangbusters lately!

Good price as well with express shipping. +1 from me!

    Only 900 uses?

    • +2

How many you going to buy? 10000? Anyways good job on broadening 300 xiaomi ip cams :)

    • I've never heard of them… definitely legit?

Google shows a bunch of warnings, more than the usual complains-about-everything folk… even a whole FB page "People Scammed By Dress Lily" with 1700 followers…

If you are new here and considering ordering from Dress Lily - Simple answer? DON'T. Let me say again… DON'T. These are overseas scam artists who use all tricks in the books to get your money & keep it.

That said, I can't quite figure if these are real complaints or folk who got the wrong size clothes and expected refunds instead of exchange or whatever…?

Is this better than the Lii500?

    • They look exactly the same except slight interface difference. I'm almost thinking who copied who? lol

  • +2

Great price! I use this to charge my Eneloops, prefer it over my D4 & Lii-500 for NiMH.

    • What plug does it use?

      • +1

You can select either EU or US plug power adapter, they should also include an AU converter but not 100% as I got mine from GB.

  • +2

    No Australian plug

    • Figure-8 cable I think? US plug is not discounted, only EU plug is discounted as well.

      • +2

Doesn't look like a figure 8 from the photos. An adapter will do the job anyway. Just wanted to minimize the bulkiness of adapters.

        • +1

          Definitely not figure-8 plug.

        • @bargainparker:
I think you're right, updated description.

Need either a "travel" adapter for the non-Australian approved power brick, DC input is DC 12V, 1.5A, or you could buy an Australian DC switch-mode power supply with 12V 1.5V (a bit uncommon) or 12V 2A.

I have a similar charger - the Opus C3400. Bought my power supply here. To many Chinese gadgets come wuth sub-standard main power supplies.

        • does that mean a lii500 power adaptor would work being 12v 2A? i just bought one last night waiting for that charger to go on sale but might get this one. thanks for answering ^

        • +1

@racheleg: 12V 2A power adapter can be used for both chargers but they have different size barrel connectors the Lii-500 is 5.5x2.1mm and the C4 is 3.5X1.35mm. Easily fixed with a cheap converter from ebay get 5.5x2.1mm Female to 3.5x1.35mm Male converter if you want to use the Lii-500 power adapter with the C4.

  • How it is a serious problem if I leave my eneloop on the smart charger? I thought it smart that it won't overcharge. Currently using a BC-700 from Amazon.

    • That's right, with a smart charger like that it won't overcharge them, no problem to leave them on there.

  • Just ordered. I had to choose the European plug, wouldn't let me apply the code with the US plug for some reason

  • I have this charger and it has replaced my BC700 as my go to.

  • Thank u op could only get to $22 with 150 points ordered. :)

  • already got the Lii500 and no idea why i got this one. more eneloops to charge at the same time!

  • Was about to buy the Lii500 without any deal as the previous one was expired. This is better according to the review, thank you!

  • "Sorry, the nation or region you choosed is out of our delivery range."
What have I done wrong here? Just sending it to SA

    • Move to a better nation, fam

The Opus BT-C3100 v2.2 (aka BT-C3400) is the best smart-charger out there.
Not sure exactly how this compares to it, probably a little worse. But initial impressions seem like its slightly better than the Lii500.
I think I'd still recommend the Opus, the cheapest we ever saw was AU$36:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/298042

However, if anyone wants to spend a little more for the Opus, I found one for cheap at the moment for $39
    https://www.gearbest.com/chargers/pp_174044.html?wid=21
You typically see them around $50-$70.

  • Tried to verify account for 100D points but link in email brings me to page which says "Your verified account doesn’t exist." Anyone else ?

    • Create another account and try removing the "." if you have one in your email address name before the @ sign?

      • I did, thanks. Though my 1st email did not have a "." I suspect it is because I subscribed to the mailing list when registering the 1st time. The second time I unchecked the box and had no problems verifying the email address. After following all of OP's steps I could only get it down to AUD$21.98 before ordering.

  • Do any of these chargers have AU plugs

    • +1

very few have AU plugs, so you end up buying a new cord if it takes a figure 8 cables ($4), or a new power pack from china with AU pins ($5), it adds a small extra cost but the wait is the bigger nuisance.

At least if they shipped with china plug pins you could plug it in Australia but often its just EU and US option.

  • Thanks OP, followed your simple instructions and got one. Too easy.

  • What's so good about this charger? You can get a battery charger from eBay for a couple bucks.

    • If you value the longevity of your eneloops you will not charge them just any charger.

  • To anyone who knows their chargers.. what else do I need to purchase to have this working? Link please

    • This will have with everything you need as they usually ship with an AU plug converter although on occassions I have had sellers forgot to.

If you don't want to use the supplied power adapter with AU plug converter you can get 12V 2A 3.5x1.35mm power adapter with AU plug from ebay or AliEx for $5.

      • do you have an ebay link? cant seem to find any apart from a 5v 2a 3.5x1.35mm?

  • Are Eneloops not rechargeable alkaline? This charger does not claim to support rechargeable alkaline, only Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, Li-Ion and IMR.

Will it charge rechargeable alkaline too?

    • +1

No it won't charge rechargeable Alkalines, FYI Eneloops are Ni-MH not rechargeable akalines.

      • +1

        Thanks for the answer.

  • Where does everyone get their Eneloops from these days?
I got mine when Dick Smith went bust I think

  • Does anyone know if this has discharge function? Any idea how this can be compared with La Crosse Technology BC-700 or 900

  • Getting an error: "Sorry, this coupon is not available, for 216141602"

Have they been all used up? Any chance we can get more?

    • It does work, make sure to select Eu plug.

  • +1

    Free Priority Direct Mail

    This isn't free for me…

EDIT: nvm, it only shows for the charger.

  • Did anybody else get an e-mail to confirm their shipping address?… Seems strange.

  • Thanks…got one…complicated process but worth the effort

  • I just bought one aswell. I chat to customer service online, and managed to get them to send me an AU ADAPTER (chinese upside down adapter). Very nice service.

    • +1

Which category did you choose for their live chat? how did you manage to get them to add it?

The person I am talking to doesn't seem to know what an AU or Australian adapter is even when I have sent a link to show what it looks like…

EDIT: Nevermind, manage to get them to add it lol

      • Oh it Just depends, on whom you spoke to and they know what they doing (competent customer service). Hope the item comes working and NOT dead on arrival. Also my item was shipped too.

        • Yea fingers cross. Got mine shipped today.

  • Has anyones order been shipped yet?
    My order is still "processing"

Starting to laugh at the Free Priority Direct Mail (5-12 business days)

    • Just received an email stating my order has been shipped

  • Just received mine yesterday, and the au plug converter came in a separate parcel the next day :)) I guess the seller forgot to put it in

  • Has the deal expired? I received "Error, this promotion code has expired, for 216141602" when applying the "DL8013" code.

  • didn't receive an au plug converter. do i need to buy a 12V 2A 3.5x1.35mm power adapter or would this work https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-pin-Chinese-Power-Plug-Adapter…

    • +1

One of these 2 pin convertors will do as the power adapter would have either EU or US plugs.

      • Thank you. Wasn’t sure I need a different power supply , one of these makes things easier, might have one lying around the house
