  Not knocking it, but how does one increase the performance of headphones electronically/digitally? Wouldn't they have a physical limitation of their quality?

      I have a feeling that Mythbusters proved that indeed one can 'polish a turd', though it's a bit more complicated than that, at any rate I agree with the analogy in the context of the headphones, it seems dubious that the app can't aptly enhance cheaper headphones to match or exceed much more expensive ones through sheer digital means alone.
