150

Mt Buller are selling 200 discounted lift vouchers per age group (Adult, child, Over 65) the day after an Australian 2018 Winter Olympics athlete wins a medal (Gold, Silver or Bronze).

Australia had a silver medallist last night (12/02/18), lift vouchers were available at $65 to begin with, but increased to $70 and then $80 as tickets began to run out. Pricing increased from $65 to $80 in 30 minutes.

VOUCHER ONLY You must redeem your voucher for an actual lift pass upon arrival at Mt Buller. You can purchase multiple lift vouchers for each person (either for yourself or another). When redeemed, your pass must be loaded onto a B-tag which you must purchase for $5 if you do not already own one.

"Two hundred discounted lift passes will go on sale 9am - 4pm the following weekday on the eStore and the faster you are, the cheaper the price, so get in quick!

We will let you know of wins on the Mt Buller Facebook page, or head to lift pass specials on the eStore!"

Must sign up with Mt Buller e-store to purchase
Usual adult ticket is $115-$128 per day

##UPDATE 11am AEST ## Adult tickets for 13/02/17 have been exhausted. Must wait for another Australian competitor to win a medal for more vouchers to become available https://www.olympic.org/pyeongchang-2018/results/en/general/…

## UPDATE 14/02/18 ## New vouchers should appear on the estore at 9am tomorrow as another Aussie has won a medal today

even if you don't score the 65 it's still a great price considering the normal price. Doesnt seem to be a limit, i could add 10

    • Adults over ?

    • Agreed, considering how much you would spend on lift passes on a multi-day trip this is real good value.

Just rechecked website, adult tickets have been removed.

  • Spewing…i knew about this and forgot, now missed out on the discount ticket!! Managed to get one for my son for $40.

Website is having trouble? Gets stuck when I have to choose a profile for the voucher… :/

Increased to $75, I processed payment for $65 but it looks like it didn't go through.

Edit: (A minute late) Processed payment for $75 but didn't go through, now prices have increased to $80.
This is definitely bs, I shouldn't have expected much from Mt Buller anyway with their sly tactics.
Edit2: Try to buy the $80 ticket, didn't go through.. as expected. Now adult tickets are gone!

    shocking website.
I went to buy 6 vouchers for a long weekend with my partner. Processed into cart, and the site wanted me to create a new T-Bag account. entered all my details, and then the website lost my entire cart contents, and didn't even return me to the discount page. And then the tickets were at the higher price point.
    Pretty pathetic.
Will need to try again if we win another medal.

    • did u get the pop up saying exceeded limit per tag? could only do 1 at a time

      • no. Pop-up blocker probably blocked that message. it had no problem adding them to the cart earlier, though.

        • i had it previous offer too. yet when you put in 1 at a time, no issues. thinking it might be blocking multiple purchases in the 1 transaction

Agreed, I tried buying an adult ticket at each different price points and none of them went through. Been here since 9am, website was broken until after 9:10 when it finally let me through the payment page, but after that it would just return me to home page with no confirmation.

  • Hotham or a trip to Queenstown is in order.

  • Jarryd Hughes got silver in the men’s snowboard cross - another chance to try again on Monday morning :)

  • Finally got my tickets, realised safari isn't compatible to the stupid website and switched to google chrome. Wasn't exactly smooth but got there. Good luck to everyone! Only $80 adult tickets left and heaps of others.

  • got mine too! I was able to order all 6 in one transaction, even though the popup advised against it

    • Was just about to ask that. Which browser? It wouldn't let me do it in Chrome. But I also didn't have my pop up blocker enabled. Had to do 1 at a time

      • It went through on Chrome. What I noticed was the website seems to have a clock a minute or so faster than atomic time. And I had already created a B-Tag account the previous day, and was logged into that account a few minutes before the sale started (and had Chrome auto-enter my site details). So it was faster and easier than manually doing it.

        • got 2 at 65 and 2 at 70. Happy with that. Yes, noticed the sale started at 0859.
