What? You obviously don't go to Woolworths. They had free apples for a long time.

      • They still have free fruit for kids. Don't believe they use the word Apple in any sentence though.

Does this turn a non apple pay phone into an apple pay phone?

    • Does this turn a non apple pay phone into an apple pay phone?

Yes as long as the phone is certified MFi.

    • Yes. As long as the phone booth is in good nick

    • Yes you just need to cut the Apple logo from the sticker and then stick the "pay" part of the sticker next to the logo on your phone

    • Yes phone is fine

    • No, it turns the phone into Android pay supported phone instead.

I tried these a while ago but they didn't work.

I stuck one my granny smith and the machine wouldn't accept it as payment. The cashier even took a bite to make it look like the picture but that didn't help.

But did you hold it right? Holding it wrong will cause the signal to drop (iPhone 4 reference for those who have forgotten)

      • +1

I had my fingers over the holes at the top and bottom to stop the signal leaking out

        • …that's what she said!

  • +5

Awesome, I am going to stick the stickers on business's that don't accept Apple Pay.

Do these stickers have band 28?

    • +2

No, you need to wait for Apple Pay X.

      • This is BS, the space is already there for the sticker hardware.

        • +1

You need the "ears" in Apple Pay X to listen to band 28.

  • Mostly for small businesses. Ordered for mine :) Coffees & Cellars in Braybrook. Most businesses near us have surcharge or no terminals at all.

I thought this would be a sticker that enables NFC payments from iPhones.
