I have this at my parents house.

1st off, no way its $299 RRP, if so thats robbery.
2nd - its very uncomfortable, I would fork out more and get the below for more cushions.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Executive-Premium-PU-Faux-Le…

    • Have you got that one you linked? Is it comfortable?

      • +1

Yes I do, heaps more comfortable.

If you sit on Mesh one for 1hr+, your ass will start to strain due to lack of cushioning, where I have no such problems with the one I linked.

    • I have the fake leather one, and its been pretty good.

      • Is that the one in Homr's link.

        • +1

Yes. I have had it for a few years now. The fake leather has started to rub off a little on the arms, but it is quite comfortable. Certainly good value for less than $100 in my opinion.

    • $50 chair from Aldi is not bad

    • +1 also bought this same chair from dealsdirect when they were around. The backrest is horrible.

    • The one you linked looks to be the same as the Officeworks York chair:
      https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/york-chair…

I tried all the chairs at Officeworks and found this to be the best they had.

      • Yeh most chairs that have more cushions will beat the Mesh chair by far. You can tell the lack of cushioning from the pic of the mesh chair, its sh1t

  • Oh God no - these are absolute garbage, they better be paying you $63 to take it off their hands

  • Don't BUY rubbish stuff. Seller not responsible what they sold, I Complain to PayPal to resolved with this seller!!!

  • Based on above comments I tried to cancel my order.

    • +1

if they haven't shipped it, select 'contact seller' and select request to cancel order.

If you're after a cheap chair, go to officeworks and test them out. If you can spend a bit more, get a Buro Metro chair from somewhere like Staples

      • Which are now called Winc

        • oh cool. I didn't know that, thanks

  • PU Leather is the main problem, it crack and peeling after few months.

    • +1

Mine only started peeling after 1yr. Replacing a chair every year at under $100 a year isn't going to break the bank

    • Agreed, would avoid. The cracking sucks and bits of it gets everywhere.

  • Any other better chairs with 20% off on ebay? Keen to get a new and more comfortable one with this sale.

  • I got one of these from Kogan for about $60 delivered. The seat cushion isn't very cushiony, but you can always add a chair cushion. I think it's making me sit a bit straighter.

The chair doesn't tilt much, not sure if I'm doing it wrong though…

  • Been eyeing one of the following below. Has anyone got any experience using either?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Eames-Replica-Premium-Mesh-O…

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Brand-New-ERGO-Executive-Ergonom…

    • I also want to buy one Ergonomic chair

    • Trying to find one as well. Dont care about PU leather as long as it's not too hot when summer.

  • I've been using one of these for around 10 years now, purchased through Super Amart during a huge special for about $50ish I think. They still sell it now - https://www.amartfurniture.com.au/office/chairs/moderno/#pro…
Lol at the sellers RRP but as stated it's cushioning is not very thick and therefore you can get a sore behind after a couple hrs. But all in all I think it's a decent but for the price, it's a light chair and is easy to push around on carpet as opposed to the heavy bulky chairs. Also breaths very well during summer no sticking to it like full PU/leather chairs.
