I've seen this before back when I was on the dole, from what I remember it allows you to scan your resume and the job add to compare, I think if I remember right, it tells you how well it compares. For example if the job is looking for communication, sales and affability and your resume goes on about how you're great at technology and learning, even though it "sounds good" it doesn't compare to the job very well. So I guess its supposed to help you tailer your resume?
I'm not too sure what subscribing does though, but I was able to try it a few times and it gave me quite a few emails for free scans. I'd probably use the free version, see whether I like it or not, then choose to join then.
I'm pretty sure it gave me 5 scans a month, though personally I didn't really use it.
