    Haven't listened to any of the JBL models so couldn't compare them directly.

    Without listening to them I would say the HW-MS750 would have the edge on it sound quality wise.. Tho the JBL SB450 does include a separate subwoofer so would assume it would be better with handling the bass.

    Though you can always add a subwoofer to the HW-MS750 to improve the bass in the future.

  Hey rep, I don't watch much TV these days but would like better sound when I do.
  Any recommendations for a cheap soundbar that would be good enough?
  Sub $300 maybe?

  I have the HW-MS750 ($629 GG) with the SWAW700 Wireless Subwoofer ($397 JB). The soundbar on it's own is OK, but with the sub, it is awesome. I Need another pair for the upstairs TV. I'm going with the Samsung multiroom setup, so the soundbars for the tv rooms, and WAM5500 R5 for other rooms (and wireless rears) ($199)

  There is also the HW-MS950 with Dolby Atmos and comes with sub and rears. I just hate the look of the sub. The SWAW700 is much better looking.

  @Rep, any deals on the sub?

    Would you recommend this soundbar without the sub, or do you think there are better options at this price?

      I honestly cannot tell you how it compares to other sound bars as I have not tested them. I have read reviews on many, but only really tested and bought this one. I like my music with a solid bass, so the subwoofer is important for me. If you are just watching standard tv, not movies with big sound, then it would be fine.

        Seems like you got the SWAW700 at a very good price. was it a deal or seomthing?
