You definitely get what you pay for with Vistaprint, there's a reason why they're so cheap. Our machines are calibrated daily to the Fogra39 Industry Standard for true to life colour. We print, hand stitch and bind books for a premium finish. Even the finer detail of including a headband (google image search to see what they are) you don't find the other guys including these premium touches :)
Can totally understand that, is your company happy to guarantee this ? I would be interested in looking at purchasing but don't want to take the risk if they wont come out well due to the printer. These photos have been printed on a canvas with no quality loss so I can assure they will be fine for a small photobook.

You probably should mention that shipping is not included and pickup is in Mansfield in Brisbane.
There's also no clear shipping charges, but if this is anything to go by, it would cost more to ship it than to make the book:

Maybe someone should tell them that not everybody needs express shipping.

Sorry shipping costs are excessive and more than other companies charge even when coming from overseas. Whilst I'd love to support a local business and give you guys a shot, even with the promo it's too expensive.
Sorry to hear you feel that way Julz. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality of work and have found Express post through Australia Post to be the best and most reliable method of delivery (even as they continue to increase their costs!). We've had too many books go missing or be damaged through even the largest of courier companies. And for a small business trying to battle them to recoup our costs of reproducing a photo book is not feasible and then on that order we would run at a loss. We'd love if you'd give us a try and i'm sure you'd be impressed.
How do these compare to zno?
Zno I find are excellent wedding album quality but postage is expensive.Hrmm you books look like those from Snapfish which are extremely average.
Now you're just judging a book by it's…. online pictures! haha :) We currently partner with several photographers for wedding albums and they are loving what we're doing.
We pride ourselves on handmade quality. Our finishing touches we believe goes above and beyond what the others offer. For example head bands (google them) they provide nothing to a finished book other than aesthetics, it's the little things that matter :)
I just noticed an important detail which I hadn't realised before. I don't think it is clear from the details in the original post really. Was it just me?

How will your printer handle high quality images ? I had created one with vistaprint with images that were 7mb+ but they still came out very poor due to the printer not being able to print granular pixels well.
