These things are useless on euro (2 pin) and USA (2 prong) sockets - they will just fall out as they are so heavy and large. Especially once you actually connect something to them.

You might get away with it in a 3-prong socket (AUS or UK), otherwise no chance.

I switched back to using single adapters for this very reason. The last time I travelled with a multi-adapter I was propping it up by various means to stop it from drooping or falling out.

    • I don't have this same one but I found you need to pull out the pins and the set it to lock again. Might be with a try. @Luckypenguin

  • Do you have any with a proper earth pin?

  • The checkout wouldn't recognise the coupon code.

    • hi,roney,

I recently bought this from Amazon AU for $24.99 delivered: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0793JX97F/ref=oh_aui_d…

4 USB ports, of which one is USB type C, and seems to be a lot more reliable than this item.

  • If you need a reliable universal travel adaptor, then this one here is pretty good for the price.

Its a bit more bulky but has a proper earth pin and the USB ports are 2.4A each. You can also just take the smaller single adaptor with you and leave the twin USB block behind.

It quite similar to the Belkin Travel adaptor here, though it only has 1 power output. It is a 1/3 of the price though.
