I bet this Star Warts is better than The Last Jedi!

  • Another Lego clone??? ;(

I have the storm trooper version of this (FWIW it's labelled as 'SPACE WARS'); it's almost an exact clone of Lego's CCBS (bone system): http://en.brickimedia.org/wiki/Character_and_Creature_Buildiā€¦

Very good quality; fits and builds just like the Lego version (I have General Grievous from Lego), but it's less than $10 vs $50+.

"educational toy"… What do you teach by using this action figure?!

    • Lego in general is considered 'educational'. The act of interpreting and following ordered instructions is mathematical and algorithmic.

Except this one is not a lego. You don't build anything with this.

        • Yeah you do. It's just the same as the Lego star wars CCBS sets.

Look at the photos by people in the comments sections. Even the build instruction booklet looks almost identical to a Lego booklet.

What do you teach by using this action figure?

      Always take the high ground.

What do you teach by using this action figure?!

Nothing, the toy teaches…it's the kid who learns.

      • If that's the case, doesnt it mean almost all objects are "educational"? My point is the term of "Educational Toy" as a marketing slogan is overused. I agree that the lego building blocks, mindstorms, boardgames are educational - but I don't think this action figure should be categorised as an educational toy. It's just my opinion :)

        • " DIY toy, develop your children's intelligence and inspire their potential"

        • All good. I was just being facetious in pointing out that an educational toy works the other way around to what you described (ie - a child doesn't become a teacher but rather a learner by using an educational toy)

    • That you can build an action figure using the parts that came with it?

  • Now if only Gearbest did the same deal or beat it…….

If you truly love LEGO, you wouldn't buy knock offs.

    • Couldnt agree more

    • +3

Knock offs are truly destroying the industry. I'd be surprised if they are even around next year, considering they're only worth $14 billion

      • They seem to thrive because people buy them, either voluntarily or by accident. Just look at all the listings on eBay that uses the word LEGO in its title, but says otherwise in the fine print.

      • I didn't say knock offs were destroying the industry. I said if you love LEGO, you wouldn't buy this.

Personally I believe that people who put effort in deserve to be paid. Would you stand for it if someone printed your work reports and handed it in under their name?

  • May the farce be with you.

  • Eww what the hell is that thing. !

Gotta love this : DIY toy, develop your children's intelligence and inspire their potential lol
