I did 5 days last July on Virgin.
-Star Ferry night crossing is a must. Was only a couple of dollars from memory.
-The Peak. If your a hiker trek up and down.
-City exploring. Go riding on the cable cars all around.
-ferry to Macau.
Get the train to/from airport, you can actually checkin for Virgin at the City Train Station. If you have never been there maybe get a cab to the city as it’s Crazy busy if your lost can be a little overwhelming.
Cabs don’t take cards cash only.
Bamboo Scaffolding on skyscrapers under construction. You need to see it to believe it!
Hong Kong is awesome. Went in 2016:
Get a flight during Melbourne Cup Long weekend (included in the deal) so you only need 1-2 days off work
Stay in precinct known as Jordan (10min walk from harbour) to save $$$$ (Evergreen Hotel would be my pick)
Hong Kong Museum free
Public Transport safe and reliable
Food Great
Walk the Markets
Heaps more to to do and see

damn, got tricked by the headline price of $449. 449 exists but not direct flight. they are charging $523 which is direct.
also i just saw a sneaky fee at the bottom:

Flights were showing up as $499 + Servicing Fee at flight centre, so I checked skyscanner.
Found these flights cheaper Aunt Betty then used Honey to apply a promo code for $33 off. $449 total including credit card fees.
Bout time they do direct from Sydney.
From July 2 Virgin are cutting MEL-HKG to 5 weekly and are all going to be Overnight flights. This might not be reflective in the booking engine yet.
