Ok chefs, is this stuff good?

It's not bad but the rrp is extremely inflated and you can buy it all the time around this price

    • It has a 10 year warranty, which they honour. Sales are often on, but at the sale price, you can’t go wrong. I’ve had pieces for 12 years, and only one has had a malfunction (the cover of a river popped off), which scanpan replaced happily and easily.

    • they are different 5 piece sets…the one offered here is better. I know what u mean but this does seem like a decent deal

This is a misleading title considering OP's store is selling them at the over-inflated RRP and then doing massive discounts to bring them down to market price.

EVERYONE has roughly the same prices as you so I would not consider this that great of a deal- especially not as good as a "70% off" should imply

    • $1000 for a 3 piece set? LOL

Agree !00%. Not sure why the ACCC is not doing something about this. It's misleading and false advertising.

I was selling them for $50,000 per pan, then I ran a 99.999% price reduction, so bargain!

    • Hi Sock

The RRP quoted is the actual official RRP set by Scanpan Australia as shown the link below. We didnt make that up. :)

      Classic 6 Piece Cookware Set

Given, $1499 is a rather high but they do commonly retail for over $600. i.e. (https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/Scanpan-Classic-6pc-Set-…)

We have the same cookware set currently at $375 (https://www.megaboutique.com.au/kitchenware/cookware/scanpan…).

      :)

      • Thanks for answering one part of the two-part question. The second part being about every other online store selling this at the same price - so, why buy from your store? It seems like a reasonable question to me.

  • Damn, I bought the 24cm Saute Pan on its own for $129.95 at Harris Scarf (50%) off at the time.

Now I can buy BOTH the larger 32cm one as well as the Grill Pan for only $159!

I really love my 24cm Saute Pan and so I'm really tempted to get this duo.

Once postage was included, it was cheaper for me to get a frypan from Kitchen Warehouse (who have free shipping at the moment).

Although thanks for the reminder that I needed a small frypan I guess.
