Edit: Flash sale now expired, but still available for $1 USD more, still with free expedited shipping

I asked the REP for a good deal because I needed it badly (as you do), and they created a lightning sale for me. No coupon needed. Up to 50 units, for Australian customers only. Don't forget 5% Cashrewards, which will come down to ~$2.20 for this.

This is the model with 720p wide-angle camera.

This comes with free expedited postal shipping!

  • 28 left, just grabbed 30.

    • Right…
So do you seriously use them to smuggle stuff into prisons?

      • Yeppas, good investment on my part don't ya think?

Just have to find a good supplier of cheap tabacco now.

  • +1

    bought….now to ask myself…why??

    • Same here. Let me know if you find the answer!

      Easter 2019. Sure.

      • not too late for Christmas

      • 7-14 days it reckons

    • Valentine is coming, so this would be cheap and useful presents

      • +3

Uhm, you missed it. Now you better pray that she will 'miss' when she comes after you.

    • Ordered one after Christmas and it took well over a month to arrive.

  • +1

It was $29.99 a month ago.

    • But was shipping free? Because up to a couple days ago, shipping was about $15 USD.

      • It was free shipping. It arrived in 2 weeks

        • What was the drone like Archdiocese?

        • @videoman: the drone is easy to fly. The camera is bouns. It is not hovering well with 20km/h wind.

    • Visuo are price-jacking the wholesalers at the moment on these. They might have been cheaper before, but I think it will be a while before we see them under $30 a unit.

Last deal was 300 Units @ $32.84 US (~$40.57 AU)

  • Doesn't look bad for the price

    • They are awesome. It's not the $50 drone you see in JB or Australia Post that is for sure.

Only issue is getting batteries for them, impossible.

Nice retail box as well, though a bit bulky - wont fit in a 3KG Auspost satchel :(

      • Don't see one at jb hifi for $50 you are comparing to.

  • Another one of those impulse buying. Though I wanted to get a drone for a long time. Thought this one is a good value for a beginner drone. Thanks OP!

  • Been buying it from LightInTheBox last January. Came out with a problem flying.
I sent it back and wait. So for the moment 45AUD out and still no drone + 30AUD I paid for postage.

    • Did you have to pay for the return postage?

      • Yes they asked me to… Apparently they will refund that

  • Just need to figure out where to get spare batteries who will delivery to AU. I found some on eBay, but not the "best price".

    • My aliexpress battery order never arrived, fortunately the supplier refunded me.

I've since ordered on ebay locally, shipped a few days ago so may have better luck with that.

  • +1

Excellent drones and these fly really well considering the low price

Picked up 2 x spare batteries from fleebay for $15 delivered - so far so good

    Highly recommended drone!

  • Anyone can help me with what the differences are between the one in op and this

    • By the looks the one is this deal is 2.0MP camera and the one you linked is only 0.3MP camera.

  • no more free shipping?

    • Looks free to me still…

      • it's free again now.

  • I bought one yesterday
    Originally wanted postage ($16 something)

  • I received mine today, which is insanely fast. Faster than an eParcel from the other side of Australia.

    • :) wow, it's only 1 week. did you choose the express shipping?

      • No, just the free expedited shipping. Very impressed.

  • Mine arrived today, Took just over a week
Well it's at post office, Will pick it up tomorrow

  • Mine arrived as well. Took it for a spin.

Can someone help me with these questions:

    a) I noticed, if using a USB cable that's not supplied with the unit, the battery is warm to touch during charging. When using the supplied cable, it's cool. Is there a standard for the LiPo charging cables?

    b) Are all the batteries made the same? ie: there's no genuine battery that accompanies this unit?

    Cheers.

    • I have no issue using my own cable.
