  • That’s a genuine bargain

Have the C3 but would buy this in an instant at that price! Well worth it over Dyson.

    • Agree. I love my Dyson V6 handheld but regret buying a Dyson DC37 previously. Have bought a Miele more recently and I much prefer it.

  • Bought one at a similar price using an Oz bargain deal a little under a year ago. Excellent suction. You generally need 1 bag every three months but that also means it keeps its suction for much longer than bagless

    • Wondering whether I would neeed to replace bags constantly?

      • When it gets full yes, as well as the motor filter. The hepa filter maybe every 6 months or a year, not too sure on that one.

    • A good bagless genuinely doesn't lose suction power, so I find your comment disingenuous. The nature of bagged cleaners is that the bag impedes suction. Saying bagged has better suction that lasts longer is akin to saying the Earth is flat, as long as we're comparing apples to apples, not a 1kw vacuum with a 50w, for instance.

  • Bought the C3 dog and cat last night for $374ish delivered. Not the cheapest it's been but good enough for me :)

    • I got the hardwood floor one :)

  • Hi guys, need your opinion. My place is all carpet. Is this one good for the carpet? Is it good for picking up hair? Thanks

I have a Dyson V6. The Dyson is really good for picking up hair thanks to the motorised head. However, it's a pain to maintain.

You want the C3 Cat and Dog for carpet and hair (human long and animal)

Believe me, your best bet would be a Xiaomi Mi Robot. The best investment I’ve ever done.

  • It shows $169.15 pick up for me…

  • How this one is different to C3?

    • C3 is bigger. I think. It's either C1 or C2 that is the smaller unit. From the thumbnail pic, this does look like a smaller unit than C3.

Bags are 5L which is only slightly bigger I guess. But it's also 2000w instead of 1400w. That's not necessarily a good thing btw. More watts does not equal better suction and flow. My is so power hungry (I have it set to max) C3, on some power outlets it blows a fuse, and I have to go to the circuit breaker.

I honestly would rather have 1400w.

The current C3s have a + and - button on the vac for adjusting power. This C1 has a dial. The buttons mean you can press it with your foot instead of reaching down to turn the dial. A minor thing I suppose. Higher end models have the + and - button on the hose handle itself. This model with the electric motor head is an item on my list of things to buy when I win the lottery.

      • The turbo vacuum head for $24.50 on eBay works a treat.

  • A shame it's not the more powerful C1 PowerLine model, which is necessary to give carpets a really good clean, but this one is at least made in Germany.

    • i'm confused.

      i thought C1 is China ? not all ?

    • Not that I know what this means but I just received delivery of this today from the same ebay auction and it says Classic C1 PowerLine on the box.

so bing lee do know how to post to most of Australia, they just don't do it when they feel like it.

  • Bought one of these about a year ago. Fantastic.

Our cleaner also said it is the best vac she has used and plans to buy one next.

For an entry level model this is a great product that represents terrific value.

    • What does your cleaner think of dysons? All of mine when given the choice used the Miele. Eventually I gave away the Dyson because no one used it.
