Seems like a good deal here for smart tv.

And also can purchase $50 evoucher from eBay or gumtree to further bring this price down

    depends on what you are using the monitor for.
    if its just for watching movies, word processing, and non competitive gaming, then it should be fine.

  Its a good screen for TV however SMART Tv functions like Youtube, browser etc are very slow. I use Chromecast mostly rather than inbuilt system.

        @DarthLord: I’d probably say not worth it on a tv at this price. Most standard warranties are good enough and if it breaks after it lapses you’ve probably got your monies worth already.

    You can get the 'dumb' version of what looks like the same TV for $40 less.

    You're right! Received mine and setup today. The smart tv function is quite slow, loaded kodi and non of my video addon inside kodi plays video well, very jerky. Tried disconnect wifi and use LAN cable, still the same jerky videos even at 720p. Switched to the inbuilt YouTube, seems fine

    I can confirm my internet connection is good, I have another android tv box next to it, plays everything smoothly within kodi.

    Overall, not worth paying extra for the smart tv version of this panel. There's one similar selling for $399 only. Do you think I can make complaint to Kogan and swap for a non smart version?

  Yeah, that's right.

  But since I'm using android tvbox for some apps, guess will be handy to have it inbuilt although Logan's smart tv specs are not that great. Hope it'll be ok for just YouTube and kodi
