Cheapest Place to Buy Approved Mains Plug Adaptors

Hi Everybody,

I regularly buy equipment from Europe with the two circular pins style mains plug.

To use these plugs in an Australia power sockets, I used a plug-adapter (Sometimes called a travel-adapter) As shown in this link below:

https://www.korjo.com/product/adaptor-australia-eu-us/

I was buying these Korjo plug adapters for $10 each, but have recently switched to the ones sold at K-Mart for $5 each.

Both of these plug adapters have the regulatory compliance mark (Triangle shape, with the letter 'C' and a tick inside) Certifying that they're approved by the Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC) for use in Australia.

Does anybody know where I can buy approved plug adapters in Australia for cheaper than $5? I'm not interested in non-approved adapters that may electrocute you or burn down your house.

Thanks in Advance!

    You're no fun.

    • Yeah, people just don't want any excitement in their lives any more. Sad.

Get a few of these: http://agmelectrical.com.au/electrical-wiring-and-accessorie…

Cut the end off your existing plug, and re-wire it into an Aussie plug. No more adapters.

You don’t want to use unapproved adapters for safety concerns, but have you checked if the appliances are approved?

    • The power adapters are UL listed.

  • I suggest you buy a powerboard from the EU and put it into a tick C adapter.
