  These are one of the slowest charging things ever. Takes forever to charge, loses charge quickly, and can only charge up my phone in a pinch.
  The 3 in 1 adapter though is quite handy and if anyone has forgot their cable, I just lend that to them and it suffices.

  But I paid $12 for mine. I wouldn't pay $9.60 after trying to use it.

  Of course, if you are DIYing/harvesting it's a whole different ballpark in terms of value.
