Awesome! Last time I posted it they didn't price jack, I think they learnt their lesson!

    • +15

They generally don't price jack, just catalogues sales end and start during the eBay sales

Logic has no place in this discussion.

Why can’t I find 65N7 on their eBay store?

    • -1

They did price jack! this fridge is $1499 on their ebay store at last sale, now is $1985!
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Samsung-SRF625BLS-635L-Frenc…

      • +2

That fridge has never dropped below $1875 before a coupon.

        • -1

I am pretty sure it was $1499, because I compared this black model to the store stocked silver color 628L model at $1399

        • @leetec:

Price Hipster is the most accurate price tracker for Australian items, if it was $1499 it would have listed it there. You must be thinking of another model unless you mean $1499 after the coupon.

        • @doweyy: that's weird, I can make mistake, but the price, brand and color is 100% correct. I cannot decide, because tt's cheaper than store stocked $1399 but I don't like black color.

          @leetec:

"Once you go black, you'll never go back…"

The US did, they went orange

        • @Nugs:
          Yep. Trump in.

    • The Ozbargain police did the job.

    • Toaster that i was looking at literally just went up by $10

Edit: actually there appears to be two listings, one with postage included in the price and one with extra for postage but free c&c…

  • +1

Try adding those to your cart for tomorrow!

    • Good idea thanks, it lets me add a washing machine, however, it won’t let me add a fridge.

    • I've tried adding the TVs listed above, it says "The item you've selected wasn't added to your cart. Please try again." … " Item(s) in your cart aren't available in the quantity you originally requested. We've updated your shopping cart to reflect the amount that is currently available. Please review these changes before proceeding to checkout." Strange!

Also $50.14 shipping on the TVs to Sydney, and for me there's no local stock available for pick-up.

      • Yes, that’s the same error I got, now the fridge I picked is no longer there, it has gone missing.

        • Same. Looks like they are getting ready to price jack…

  • -2

Thank god. I need to buy a $500 epson printer lol. Do they pricejack??

    • +13

why dont you check and tell us?

  • Fingers crossed they won't do the usual thing that takes place during other eBay sales.

  • +7

The juxtaposition of PICK and tightarse is somewhat unnerving.

  • Can I use e gift card ?

    • you can stack the ebay giftcard with the promo code (up to 8 gift card or 7 gift card +1 promo code?

      • But has anyone actually got 5% cashback through cashrewards for buying ebay vouchers as this voids t&cs?

  • +2

let's hope their tv stock (65N7,75N7) comes back in stock for some pickups / delivery even.

  • +2

This would be great if they listed everything they had in store

    • Agree… no 75" Tvs:(

      • +1

And if you go to Samsung Washing Machines it lists a freaking stove top

        • +8

At last, a practical use for a Samsung fire starter.

        • +1

I’d say they finally listed Samsung washing machines under the right category. Although “fireplaces” maybe more appropriate.

        • @ChickenTalon:
I've had a Samsung washer for a couple of years and my house hasn't burnt down once!

  • Note 8 shows no stock on all stores for click and collect..

Edit: My bad, its just the gold ones that show no stock.

Anyone else looking for a GoPro 6 ?

  • 55n7 out of stock

Looks like they've pulled it from their ebay site - along with many others - in advance of the sale. They've left TVs (like TCLs) on there that are way above the usual price (eg the TCL50E17US is $592 at Videopro, now $799 at TGG). You can click "buy it now" (of course, you can't apply the code yet) but can't "add to cart"…

The Hisense 55N7 was $955 on ebay site. Now gone. Plenty on their own site (for $1195).
The Hisense 55N6 was $795 on ebay site. Now gone. Plenty on their own site for $795.
The Samsung 50MU6100 is $768 on their own site (matching JB HiFi). It was $895 on ebay site. Now it's gone.

Effectively price-jacking - only offering the 20% off on a reduced site. Perhaps "sitewide" is misleading. It's on selected products remaining on a reduced ebay site. Won't vote down until tomorrow morning to give them a chance to put items back on with appropriate prices.

      Not sure why the negs.

      • Hi Trosticles, i was looking for the 55n7 during the last week and it was not available on the eBay store - so am curious did you find the 55n7 today on their site?

If not, or when did you see for 955? Was that a couple of weeks ago - mid feb?

Also, pretty much for the GG eBay site they seem to never have click and collect available. As you say click and collect available on their website but not through eBay…..as I've been looking at this for about 5 weeks.

        • I haven't been looking over the last week so not sure. They have the links to the 55N6 and 55N7 listed in their main sale page linked to above (and selecting entertainment). Actually - the 55N6 is 715. I can click "buy it now" but, from what I hear, that is not an indication that they will process the transaction.

So perhaps they haven't pulled them in reaction to the ebay sale, as such; but they leave the ad links on their sale site and appear to have no intention of stocking them. It just seems disingenuous to have unavailable listings on the ebay site at good prices, stock in stores and for delivery from their own site (again at reasonable prices) but then only keep overpriced stock on ebay during the sale. They only have 2 or 3 Hisense TVs on their ebay store (despite numerous links on their sale page). To be fair - the 50N4 is still $595 so $480 after discount for a FHD 50" Hisense is pretty good.

        • @Trosticles: Ok - I've just clicked the Sale link - and yes, you're right - they have it at $955, but when you do a search on the main eBay for 55n7 - there is no TV that comes up for the GG which is where I was checking to see if the 55n7 was on special somewhere.
Strange isn't it - they have it listed in the Sale link but not on the eBay main site. Is that legal?

Edit: a follow up: Looked at it again and I think maybe that is an old link?
          Maybe TA could confirm?

When I click on it it says 'listing has been updated by the seller'

I would say it's because they're out of stock or they not selling it anymore through eBay.
Would explain why it doesn't show up on either the main eBay search for the product in all stores, nor does it appear on the eBay GG shop.

        • +1

          @Trosticles:

Had this same issue as part of the last TGG ebay sale. Ended up going the 'Buy Now' route, entering the coupon code when committing to buy and the discount worked. Got the 55N6 for $643 pick up. Hopefully that approach will work when this deal goes live.

If you can get that TV for $572 as part of this deal, that's an amazing price! :)

        • @Msfrugal:

You'd have an arguable TPA (i.e. Aus Consumer Law s18) application, but there are so many issues with such an application that it's not worth going into. Yes - I first went through the big advert and saw the N7s in there and am now all sad :-(. Just after a 55 UHD really and thought this would be a good opportunity. They had some decent 55s on there when I bought a 50N4 for my grandmother a month ago.

        • @Stalker:

          I know! I'll give it a go for $572. Even $636 (i.e. 20% of $795) would do.

        • @Trosticles:

          Good luck! :)

        • @Stalker: Can someone please tell me what is the main difference between N6 and N7?

Would I notice it? As in I use the TV to watch TV/netflix/ view…. etc.
Is it worth the price for streaming and tv?

          Not for games or wii

Store rep said N7 was amazing value and he has Hisense at home.

I see all the Tech specs and my brain goes '&^%$#@))' as in I don't understand it! Thanks for any help.

        • @Msfrugal: The panel. N7 use ULED and no kidding the brilliance of colour is stunning. I've had the 55N7 for some months and it's been great. Now in saying that I haven't compared the two side by side so I don't know how much of a difference there is between the two.

        • @Msfrugal:

I really wanted the N7 but couldn't justify the extra ~$200 for a TV that will only get used a few times a week. You'll be happy with either, but grab the N7 if you'll be watching it a fair bit. ;)

        • @Msfrugal: I have a 55N7 & a 50N6 and I can't notice a difference watching high def netflix, TV, youtube etc (I don't have 4K content). The N6 is a much thicker TV than the N7 if aesthetics are important to you. The other minor difference is that the N7 remote is significantly longer which suits my big hands better when using the lower buttons.

        • @Stalker:

Tried for the 55N6. Didn't work. No store stock near me according to ebay - even though every store near me actually has it in stock. Choosing delivery option comes up with an error.

        • @turbodude: thank you for that. appreciate it.

      • Got the 55N6 at $572 pickup from Essendon (well it's on order).

      • HI guys - its BACK!!!!
I just posted a new thread on it - they've put it in and I picked one up
$714 + delivery fee - as per usual no C&C available.
Let me know if you get one.
I'm delighted to get it at this price. Long story as to why it HAD to be GG's. Not sure if I have to reply to everyone individually or you'll all get notified on this thread with my answer? (Still learning).

        • Well done! :)

        • +1

@Stalker: Thanks. I got very lucky. If you check my post they pulled it and the other 65N7 once they realised what what was going on. Am VERY happy I got the deal. And I also VERY happy to try and help others as am so grateful for the community here.
Am hoping it was ozbarginers who snapped up the '9' that is quoted as having been sold before they pulled the Hisense tvs.

How come some items are in stock for C&C via their website but not via ebay :-(

    • I've just been looking through a certain product range on their eBay store and found some items are available for C&C and others aren't. It must just depend on the particular product.

  • Why is delivery via their website $10 while via ebay it's $35..

  • Where are the dishwashers?!

  • +4

Lol @ the number of questions above. 😂

  • Well, they're want nearly $100 more then all others shops for what I'm looking for;
My guess is that they have already raised the price prior to this sale.

  • +1

    No Apple AirPods?

  • Does their own store price match with ebay TGG price?

    • Nope.

      • Different from Binglee, binglee had 15% off ebay last week. When I checked the kindle paperwhite sale, only a few bought from ebay, but many stores shows out of stock by Monday, binglee must have allowed price match in their store.

    • -1

What? What are you gonna say? You are offering a discount but i want more discount?

      • +2

Price match as in offer the same price as the ebay discount.

  • Tried to purchase the 75N7 last time there was 20% off but was met with payment pending in my order page even though I'd added payment details then shortly after received order cancellations. Assumed it was because they were out of stock but several stores in VIC, SA and NSW said they had them in stock. If they truly are out of stock why do they still have the bloody thing listed on their ebay page? Contacted the Good Guys ebay store and was given a generic response which didn't address the issue I was having. Very frustrating.

Provided the price doesn't change and someone manages to snag one, should be a little over $2300 delivered which is an awesome price.

  • Can u use Boxing Day gift voucher/any vouchers with eBay sales?

    • No PayPal or eBay gift card.

    Thanks OP.

last month their ps4 pro was 519 now 599

    • yep, noticed that too;
      Better of buying it from Big W for $499 and use the 5% Cash Rewards Woolies Gift Cards;

      No Deal

    • Bloody hell I was hoping I could've picked it up for $415 had they not…

save your items you want to buy, write down the price. Check tomorrow, see if they price jacked it. Report to ACCC
