Why not just use remind or bookmark… or subscribe?

        • I prefer to scroll through my upvotes every so often

  • I purchased the Samsung SR624LSTC 628L Top Mount Refrigerator last week in store and love it. The only thing is, the fridge door is reversible, you would need a service guy to do it. I wasn't made aware of this, I would had preferred a right hinged door.
If in QLD don't forget the Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate, I received $250.00 back in 2 days :)

    • +1

I bought a similar one 13 years ago, a whirlpool one, and whirlpool actually came out and did it free of charge. Might be worth contacting Samsung to see if they can do it free..

      • Now that's a good idea! God I'm stupid LOL .. Thank you, can only try :)

      • +3

That type of service is long gone, the fridge was probably made here too, that has ended too.

Now when they breakdown you buy a new one, you don’t fix anything.

    • No instructions in the manual? I bought a Samsung fridge a couple of months ago with a reversible freezer door and instructions were in the manual. I wasn't easy but it was doable.

      • Yes the instructions were with the fridge. Hubby said it isn't a simple job to do plus didn't want to risk damaging it 😊

        • +4

Which translates to can't be bothered.

        • +1

Mine is an upside down french door fridge and I had to remove all three doors (9 screws all up) just to get to the freezer door at the bottom. Certainly wasn't hard :)

    • +1

I got the same fridge last month. Sometime the compressor make noise. Not quite happy.

    Let's see what happens tomorrow!

    Current price @ 9.55pm
    Hisense 65N7 $1595 link $1276 after 20%
    Hisense 75N7 $2795 link $2236 after 20%

    • They're dead links, try to add to cart and see what happens.

      • yeah getting these errors lol

        Your eBay Shopping Cart
The item you've selected wasn't added to your cart. Please try again.

Item(s) in your cart aren't available in the quantity you originally requested. We've updated your shopping cart to reflect the amount that is currently available. Please review these changes before proceeding to checkout.

      • Yes, "add to cart" doesn't work. But If you click "buy it now" it takes you to the checkout. Obviously you can't apply the code. Not sure if you can complete checkout.

        • I tried both ways last time they had 20% off. Couldn't complete payment either way and ultimately the order was cancelled on their end. When I contacted the Good Guys ebay store about the issue I received a generic response that didn't resolve or even acknowledge the issue I was having. Very disappointing.

    • Those listings need to be removed. Have tried to purchase the 75N7 before with no luck.

    • Add to cart seems to bug, Buy it now adds to cart and is AU $1,326.14 with shipping on the 65N7 or if you can find stock AU $1,276.00 pickup

75N7 is AU $2,236.00 with Buy It Now and pickup

    • +1

Just bought the 65N7 for $1,326.14 delivered.

      • +1

Me too! Let’s hope they don’t cancel the order!

  • They are selling stuff that not in stock…

Placed an order on 20th Feb, sent me message saying the item is back order, they will call me once it becomes available, but nothing happened till now…

They price jacked a printer I was looking at last week by $10.

  • -1

Some expert advice please. I just purchased a printer from TGG eBay store using PayPal which is still awaiting collection from the store. Is there anything I can do to obtain this discount at this stage or am I out of luck? Thanks.

    • +2

Try to get in touch with tgg,if they agrees to cancel your order, then you are lucky enough to get extra 20% off
Otherwise, look for other retailer, see if they sell the same product cheaper, get 120% difference back..

    • +2

Global nomad - From what I've read - They have a 30 day return guarantee if you return it unopened or in a resalable condition . If you've not picked it up then you can buy another one at the discount price to pick up and just return the first one and you get a full refund. Let me know how you go.

      • +1

        Here's the eBay T&C quote:

        "What is the return policy?
If you have received your order and you wish to return it, the item must be returned within 30 days after you have received it and the packaging must be unopened or in a sellable condition. You will have to pay the return postage or take it into your nearest The Good Guys store."

    • +1

Buy the same printer on TGG eBay with the 20% off. Then return it with the receipt from the first purchase and get that refunded to you.

    • Thanks for the suggestions kind people. Have now purchased a second printer with the 20% discount. As I will be collecting both printers from the store at the same time tomorrow I'll be walking out with 2 and then turning around and walking straight back in to return the non-discounted one. Hope TGG don't crack it and get upset with me and refuse to eBay/PayPal refund and I get stuck with 2 of the same printer…oh well spare ink I guess :)

Couldn’t find the Arlo Pro in their ebay store :(

  • Thoughts on the Sony KDL40W660E? Especially if I can download the plex app to it?

Looking at the 40" for the bedroom - i know it is has been cheaper - but I'm looking for a half decent TV - and at ~$560 - this seems pretty good

    Any other ideas?

    • I’m looking at this too and wishing I would have bought it at the $479 price in December 😕

  • +1

Damn… Just bought a new tablet from tgg

    • -1

Damn - just bought a dishwasher on Tuesday :(

    • Damn it.
      From the Store T&conditions:

      "Refund Policy
We will provide refunds pursuant to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the “Act”) namely, if the goods you purchased:

      Are not of merchantable quality;
      Are not fit for its purpose;
      Do not match the sample."

      From Ebay terms and conditions:

      "What is the return policy?
If you have received your order and you wish to return it, the item must be returned within 30 days after you have received it and the packaging must be unopened or in a sellable condition. You will have to pay the return postage or take it into your nearest The Good Guys store."

Looks like buying online gives you a Right to Return - potentially even used as it seems to say you can return it once the packaging is in a 'sellable condition' - i.e., put it back in the box? Anyone know?

      • For change of mind returns, that would come under not fit fot purpose ie. not working as you had intended, even if your understanding of how the product worked was completely misguided eg. "I can't connect my iphone to this toaster" etc.

  • +1

Are you guys getting this message on ebay? "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later."

  • Can't find laptops on the site. Can some one post me a link pls

  • anyone recommend a dyson vacuum with the sale - im off to my first apartment which has mainly carpet but also tiles too

    • If its a big apartment I wouldn't recommend the v6, or v8s because their batteries only last about 10 minutes. Go corded if you can

      • +4

But who wants to vacuum for longer than 10 minutes at at time?

  • I recently purchased an air fryer in store for $328 - $100 store credit I had, making the total $228. If I get the air fryer refunded, is it possible to reuse the $100 store credit via eBay?

    • +1

No you unfortunately cannot use TGG store credit on ebay.

  • Anyone knows if they deliver at extra cost? Most stuff it says click and collect or standard delivery of 5 bucks, i cant imagine how it will cost 5 bucks to delive a large appliance like a tv or fridge?

  • Where is V9 Dyson

  • So if I buy a black Note 8 using C&C then turn up to the store and want the gold one (not available for C&C but in stock) would they just hand over a gold one?
    Anyone tried this before?

    • You should give the store a call prior to your purchase.
I did it fo bing lee no problem.

  • Meh, everything i looked at under $200 was around $50 more then other places..

What happened to my negative vote? Says it's been revoked because I received too many negative votes wth

      • +1

        It was invalid…

    • I got this message earlier too, but I just tried again now and the order and payment went through.

  • Meh, no stock of anything I was after.

  • Help! I placed an order for a Fitbit Alta HR and went through all the ebay and Paypal payment pages but when I finalised my payment the next page tells me the item is no longer available! My Ebay page says I have "Payment pending" on this item but I already put it through paypal.
Also when I check the good guys ebay page the item I tried to order is still listed as available.

    EDIT:
My order keeps getting cancelled! Its very frustrating - I've tried to pay for it twice now but it doesn't go through.

    • Why neg the deal though?

      • +1

Is it really a deal when I can't buy what I'm after?
I'm getting the error "This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired." after I try to purchase it. The same reason given below by Pab23q.

        • +3

Your first comment was Help, which implies you don't know what the problem is, it could be on your end.

        • +1

So why not be 'neutral' on the deal rather than neg. So you admit that it is a deal but you may be at fault in the transaction.

    • +1

it means they're out of stock. I've had this happen in the past with Myer Lego Ebay deals. In on instance PayPal funds were taken by Ebay but the returned later in the day.

Missing out on a purchase isn't a good enough reason for a neg on this entire deal, though admin's think so as they discounted the reporting of this neg.

  • -8

Says theres stock of the item i want but wont let me check out due to 'stock' or expiry like above…… annoying. was waiting so closely aswell.

Just picked up the sony bravia x6700e for $1,560!

Amazing price, almost bought it last weekend for $2.3k….

Was worried for a second that they price jacked it. The first time I tried buying it, eBay rejected me saying something about the seller changing the listing. I checked the listing and all appeared the same, so I hit the buy button again and booom, purchase made!

Thanks followed - picking it up it hopefully later today/Monday.

  • Just purchased NEW Samsung HW-K950 Series 9 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos for $1116. I've had my eye on this for a long time. the best is usually at $1395. I put it in my basket last night and this morning I prayed to the OzBargain Gods PICK20 works and they do something dodgy on me. It took 2 goes, but order successfully placed for pick up at my local store.

    • Edit: got a link?

      This one? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Samsung-HW-K950-Series-9-Sou…

Is it better than an AMP + Speakers?

Edit: researched into this. Unfortunately it has no support DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X which makes it a no buy from me

    • I bought a phone through click and collect the other day, i got a good guys invoice, it lists the store. It does say it was an online order, but otherwise its legit.

  • Does anyone know if you order through click and collect, does the invoice show the store you collect from or does it say it was purchased from the eBay store? Reason I ask is that I am looking at a Nespresso coffee machine and they have $70 coffee credit if purchased through a "qualifying Good Guys Store", which it is not clear that the eBay store complies with.

    • +1

Off memory, I'm pretty sure you get an invoice from the store you collect it with the normal price shown (pre eBay discount).

      • Excellent, thanks

      • Placed order and invoice definitely has pick-up store location, although salesperson is "Web S". Should be fine ….. I hope

        • I’d say you’ll be fine! Even if they notice the web bit, there wouldn’t be anything about it being through eBay unless they contact TGG.

  • +2

Just ordered the Hisense 55N6 55" for $572. Chose "buy now" from the link https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-55N6-55-139cm-UHD-LE… and still got to enter the PICK20 code. Hoping it doesn't get cancelled between now and 1.30 when it says it should be ready for pick-up…

    • This looks like a ripping little deal, I think it's mentioned earlier but with no link.

    • +1

Ended up opting for this model, order went through, pickup for $572 (hope they don't cancel for any reason lol)

      • Got mine… No cancellation (but I got the confirmation within 30 mins and picked up in 90 mins)

    • Well done - that's a great deal!

Google Wifi - "This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired."

  • Trying to buy the Samsung 65inch qled tv but getting error: This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired. I am trying to purchase one (delivered)

    Anyone else experiencing this?

  • So we literally bought a dishwasher from them yesterday for 5% off, haven't picked it up yet. What should we do? Cancel the order, demand they price match?
