Kicking off on the 16th of June at 5pm AEST is the AliExpress EOFY sale with a new set of coupons and discounts. This sale will run alongside the current AliExpress Cashback promotion where you can join a team and earn cashback on all your purchases as AliExpress store credit.

Since the sale hasn't started yet I can't guarantee that these codes will work on everything, i.e. Big Save Limited Deals on AMD Ryzen CPUs. We'll have to wait until the sale is live to know.

The minimum spend excludes GST and shipping. Each coupon is 1 per account and don't stack with the new user account "Welcome Offer".

How to get the AU$ price in the title with PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

You can probably also stack this with the Aliexpress cashback offer that started today. - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/909706

    • +8

You sure can, it's even in Clears opening post.

Highly suggest stacking with TopCashback, which is currently at 10%.

      • Double check that the 10% offer is still going by then.

        • +2

That would involve reading the date section on an OzBargain deal and that's too hard for many people.

          • +1

@Clear: You know, it would be nice for a new feature where it shows you a "ends in X days" flair, much like it shows you a future start date or targeted.

I am one that tends to look at the dates on deals though, could be a handy feature

    • +1

Do you know if it works with the Shopback 6.5-20% as well?

      https://imgur.com/a/qCxI7ke

      • If those rates are still available during the periods that the codes are valid

  • /sets reminder

    • Be careful with AliExpress. I tried to return a faulty product using their return label. After the item was returned to NSW (confirmed as delivered by Australia Post), I received a message saying the item had not been received, and the case was closed. I followed up and was asked to provide the return receipt, which I did, only to receive the same response again.
When I contacted customer service again, they assured me they were on my side and would help resolve the issue. They resubmitted the appeal, but once again, I received a "no refund" response.
The same resolution was repeated each time, with no proper guidance or instructions on how to actually resolve the issue. AliExpress is not trustworthy. I'm still trying to pursue the matter.
      The item cost $165.
      Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Nice

  • +1

    1) set an event for when this starts with lots of reminders leading up
    2) make sure you have a tablet/tablets in your cart
    3) claim codes when deal starts (try to only do what you need so other OzBargainers can benefit :^) )
    4) shop at leisure

I know @Clear has mentioned this previously but not mentioned in this thread

    • Is there a reason for all the reminders, or do you just need to have the items in cart before the deal starts?

    • Sorry if I'm being stupid, but what do you mean by "have a tablet in your cart"? And also, are the codes limited ("only do what you need")?

      Thanks in advance!

      • +3

There's a finite amount of codes available. They are linked to your account after you enter them into the "promo code" field at checkout.

However, once you have done that, you can leave checkout and they remain bound to your account. You don't have to check out.
So the way to ensure you don't miss a discount is to have an expensive item in your cart (A tablet is just a convenient example) and go through and claim the codes right when the sale starts, then you can buy at your leisure and not have to worry.

With that said, I know I won't meet the spend criteria for $139+ so I'll claim below that and leave the rest so there available for more people.

        • +1

          Ah! Thanks that makes sense!

  • Does anybody have any input as to the best bits on Ali for the following?

    • IR + RF blaster that works well with Home Assistant - looking at RM4 Pro atm. Zigbee is acceptable
    • Low-cost alternative to the Google TV Streamer 4K - I already have a PS4+smart TV in the playroom, but no Smarttube to avoid YouTube ads :(
    • Cheap but good flash drive/SSD thumb drive
    • Battery charger with adaptive charge + temp monitoring - looking at LiitoKala Lii-600
    • Anything that will help winter proofing the house - I saw another member suggested borrowing a FLIR camera from the library to find air leaks
    • +2

I havent got one myself, but reviews for the new 3rd gen Xiaomi TV Box say its pretty much the same as Google TV Streamer 4K at half the price.

      • Great to know, thanks!

    • +1

For the Google TV anything with a N100.

  • Does cashback work if you change currency and checkout in USD?

    • +1

Your currency choice does not affect cashback

    • OP would not have included it if it didn't work :^)

    • Awesome just what i was wondering, anybody have a conversion for the aud discounts as they seem to be different?

  • +2

Is it common for the price of items to be jacked prior to the sale, and does anyone know of a camels equivalent for AliExpress?

    • +1

Prices depend on individual sellers. Some do and some don't. Shop around.

    • +1

Also watch the GST that AliExpress adds at checkout, that it is 10% and not 17.5%

  • Code AUEF33 working ok for me now.

  • US$79 in cart, neither of the 15 codes worked.

  • Thanks. I think I got 12% cashback through cashrewards too.

  • Thanks OP, used AUAF15.

  • I bought the WTR PRO 5825U for $495, before shopback's 10%… (I should have gone with cashrewards)

    • +1

It's pretty annoying to have to check cashback percentage across a few sites before purchasing.

  • The spend is before 10% GST btw

    • +2

I do put all of these things in the deal just an FYI.

      • +4

        Yeah it's pretty Clear ngl

  • I got a Jonsbo N3 delivered for $133, I think that is a good deal?

    • nice, link?

      • I cant work out how to get a non affiliate link on my phone sorry, ill have to get it later if im back on my pc

  • Trying to buy a POCO phone ~$400 + GST. No coupon of any value is working. Tried a few different stores too. Are there any terms that explain what items the coupons can or cannot be used with?

    • +2

Oh yeah I forget to mention that. Phones are excluded due to the issues with telco's blocking grey import phones.

      • Well that's annoying… They don't block all imports only incompatible ones. This phone has been confirmed to work across all Telco's.

  • hm, was looking at the Soyo M4 Pro N150 16/512 from previous deal.

Code doesn't seem to work on this listing but works on this more expensive one

Maybe because it's a 'super deal', and other is just a 'big save'

    • +1

Seems the Big Save are excluded.

      • the code works on the big save but not on the super deal

  • TopCashBack has 13% cashback, but codes don't appear to be listed on the TCB page… @Clear any info on this? Odds of stacking?

    • They always, always stack with cashback.

      • Thanks for the quick reply mate! Don't do much Ali shopping :)

      • -1

Do you mean TCB will stack with the Aliexpress cashback and Shopback?

        • +2

Not at all. Coupons stack with AliExpress cashback and TCB or SB. You can't double dip the affiliate cashback partners.

  • I made a refund for one of the item from a CHOICE seller. Just hope it goes through.

  • Clear, I have had some coins, not shopped for a while, 5-6 months, not sure, and now coins disappeared. Any time limit? Thx

    • +1

      Coins expire after 6 months

      • Ok, I see why there is no coin. Thanks.

  • is this only for choice items? met the 230 min spend with choice & non-choice items but says I havent met the min spend. collected the coupon already

edit: looks like its limited items only

edit2: something weird definitely going on. i use the big save page to add items meeting the min spend, but then when i go to cart the voucher isnt applied -_-

  • Any way i can remove the 'welcome offer' from my account? I've ordered lots of times in the past on this account but for some reason it's there currently can cant be removed or stacked with this and insists on giving me a 1% off… Can i just buy any random thing on the site for 20c to make it go away or is there an easier way?

    • +1

Yeah something random. I guess it's been a long time since your last purchase

  • +1

OMG!! After waiting for this deal and buying some random junk to clear the welcome offer I get "Payment failed
We had to close this order due to account security concerns. CSC_7200052" when trying to buy the item I actually wanted with Paypal, what a shitty scammy store.

    • You haven't been making multiple accounts? Or anyone in the household?

      • Nope, just me. I wonder if it's because I switched to Buddy Telco, been getting a lot of captures ever since.

      • Their support suggested connecting from mobile network but that also failed so maybe not that…

    • +1

Same issue here. It also mentions to maybe remove the coupon but that didn't work either

    • Seems to be working fine now

  • Trying to buy pendant light. Shipping is per item? 3 lights will cost 3 x shipping?

    • +1

      Depends on the seller.

    • +2

Multi-item shipping price depends on seller.

Best if you can buy from a Choice seller for more reliable and if the total value of your Choice purchases is over US$10 it's free shipping.

    • +1

Just go through the checkout process and confirm.

  • Clear, do you know what this code is for?

    AEAU45 $45 off $309 USD

    • A couple of new codes released. They have a set number of redemptions and I think it may be gone already.

    • 6% currently and just about to reach 8%.

      • Yep, now reached 8%.

    • How do you track the cashback ?

  • +1

Have these expired? None seem to work, it says "cannot be used in combination with other discounts"

    • Have you made a purchase before?

No codes are working, i had orders before in my account. it says welcome deal however, i am not a new user and codes should work technically right? including AEJU90 does not work

    • +1

Welcome Deal is why. You're considered a new user since there hasn't been orders in a long time and codes won't stack until after that welcome Deal is used.

      • Right so what are my options for the discount then, is it just the cashback with affiliated link?

        • +1

          Yes for the welcome deal

  • +1

My cart is over $200+ USD but only AUEF06 works.

  • +1

Not sure of these are useful, saw some codes that can be collected at the cashback challenge page.

US $2 OFF orders US $13+
    Code: CITY03

US $4 OFF orders US $23+
    Code: CITY06

US $6 OFF orders US $42+
    Code: CITY10

US $9 OFF orders US $45+
    Code: CITY12

    • +1

Yeah these ones are far more restricted than the normal codes in my testing. Courtesy of Tech Yes City.

  • +1

    thanks @Clear.

managed to find item cheaper on aliexpress (it's been while for me). wondered if there were any sale codes right now and sure enough you had posted them.

used the first code for the $XX spend and it worked. timing was accidental but 12% CR as well. glad to be able to save all that extra. 🙏

now for the 2~3 week wait. 🙂 I don't mind it, it's just a different shopping experience. usually I forget after a week and then suddenly, whoa! I bought this!

  • -1

Big Save EOFY item = does not work

    • +1

I'll give 5 bucks to anyone who says I haven't mentioned Big Save exclusions in the OP :)

  • -1

For the $2 codes I get a message saying "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed".
