AliExpress have brought back their previously popular in-house cashback program offering up to 10% cashback as AliExpress credit on all purchases made via the app, desktop or mobile site.

When the offer is live all you need to do is follow the link, join a team and make purchases as normal. After your order ships, the base cashback level will be issued as AliExpress credit that can be used anywhere on the site. At the conclusion of the promotion, the bonus cashback will be issued.

As your team earns more points through purchases, your cashback rate increases. Credit is valid for 30 days.

Since this is an in-house promotion, you can still earn cashback with TCB, CR and SB, as well as stacking the credit with AliExpress/Store coupons.

    I have about USD$1600 in cart and joined the team in the link (JV's Ozbargain).

    The team has zero points, so I feel deflated.
    It's Level 1, 5% cashback
    at 6,000 points it's Level 2 (6% cashback)

      The base rate is 5% and will be issued to your account after your order ships. If enough points are earned during the promotion and it goes up to another level, then when the cashback promotion ends, the bonus cashback level achieved will be issued to your account 7 days after.

        I think you get the bonus cashback as soon as your team reach new level because I got 8% cashback on my recent order, but only 5% on my earlier order before any level was reached. The bonus cashback after the event maybe only to cover the missing extra cashback for the earlier orders before any level is reached at the time of placing the order.

      Depends upon your bank, potentially even for the AU one as it appears to be processed overseas. I've been billed by Alibaba Ltd London UK, Aliexpress.com Singapore and AliPay (Aust) Pty Ltd Sydney and was charged foreign fees on all of them on a HSBC Credit Card. So I changed to a no foreign fee debit card and they all seem to now bill through Singapore, albeit with no fee (and reduced chargeback protection).

    Couple of dumb questions, can we use DANI03 more than once? Where does the credit show up in our account?

    Edit: This is how to check credit in account, https://www.aliexpress.com/p/shopping-credit/home.html. Weird I've made 5 transactions and nothing is showing here. I use coins whenever I can so maybe it doesn't stack with coins, or maybe there is a delay.

    Edit: Ah I think you get the credit once the product ships. Coin stacking should be fine.

    Edits are thanks to Clears comments in previous deals. FYI @Clear in one of your comments you mention that Ali charges GST based off the original price; which isn't true - they actually charge 10% of the product cost in USD.

      I think it also depends on what you're buying. If it's Bundle Deals I read that the GST is calculated based on the original, pre-discounted cost.

        I did order after 6pm, and the credit on my account is still sitting at $0. There is nothing even in the pending section because previously if the item hasn't been shipped there will be something under the pending tab, but nothing on this one.     Righteo folks, just put through a three grand (AUD) in orders. Was 9,610 points (level 2 with 6% cashback), now 10,167 points (level 3 with 8% cashback). This represents 5% of accumulated points to date.

    Had a few AliExpress CAPTCHA challenges and the bank threw in a temporary decline on the credit card for a SMS validation plus the usual payment 2FA (which ordinarily isn't required).

    Used coupons of AEB899, AEJU90,AEB599, AUAF78 and AUAF66 totalling about USD$250 discounts plus about USD$100 on cash rewards (could not be bothered placing multiple orders adds unnecessary lines to bank statement). Should also be another USD$290 cash back with the team.

    @clear AEJU90 was providing an $80 discount, not the $90 that I had tested last week.

      You cannot assume your purchases credit when you make a purchase, given max cash back is $40 a day spending 3K is wasteful. It’s why I am doing 1k a day,

        I think you get the extra credit immediately if you made an order at the time when the level has been reached because I received 8% cashback yesterday when the team has reached that level.

        The extra credit after the promo probably to make up the missed out credit from the order you made before the extra cashback from the subsequent level that the team has achieved during the promo period.

      Checking the team would be on the home page, and just tap on the cashback icon. Checking your own cashback amount would be on the account page, and tap the shopping credits.

          You only get the credits once the item from the order has been shipped. You can check the credits under pending tab if the item hasn't been shipped as it should be there as soon as you make an order.

          I only had issue with the order that I made an hour after the cashback event started which it didn't get tracked, and the customer service insisted that I wait, but I know it won't work because it's not even under the pending tab.
