 - Not sure honestly, in the CPU category it says:
 Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (2.8GHz + 1.7GHz), or Octa-core Samsung Exynos 9810 (2.7 GHz + 1.7 GHz)
 - Not sure but likely Exynos as Sanpdragon in mainly for USA. My S7 Edge from Kogan is Exynos
 - international model would be the exynos 9810. snapdragon would only be on US/China models iirc

 - Meh, $200 less than local RRP which includes a wireless charger plus 2yr warranty - Better off waiting. - And a clear case :)
 - So 20% more to avoid an expense (replacing) that almost certainly won't happen. - If you did this each time you bought a phone you're not coming out ahead. - You've never claimed warranty on a mobile? - Congrats, but I have. - Not to mention but how is this bargain worthy? Spending $1k at release on a Samsung is just stupid. - posted on my $60pm S8

 - samsung pay don't work but anyone know if Google pay works? - Google Pay will undoubtedly work. Samsung Pay won't until you flash the device with XSA firmware.
 - Samsung pay will work too. I used to own a note 5 with Malaysia firmware before I switched to note8. And Samsung pay works as long as the phone firmware country has Samsung pay. - thanks for the head up
 - What country's firmware would a kogan samsung phone come with?

 - for those not in the know, Samsung offer educational discounts. - The S9 can be had for under $1000, with the charger, 10k Qantas points. - All you need is access to a .EDU.AU email… Family, Friend, Work Colleague? - How much discount is student?…
 I ordered 10 s9+ with charger under 9k :p
Not sure how to redeem the qantas points though. - 10% for student discount. - I think he means under $1000 if you value the 10,000 QF points at 1c/pt. - Still much better than the Kogan deal. - ic…10% isnt tbh. Staff discount is way more :p
na it is a promotion from Samsung that if you preorder you get bonus Qantas points.
 - 20% on some things. - I bought the S9+ 64GB for $1079 Delivered. RRP was $1349. Thats 21% discount. - Plus the free charger - Plus 10,000 Qantas points as well (which can be sold at 1c per point/$100)
 - @bargainhereicome:
It took me a while but I found it
 http://www.samsung.com/au/estore/samsung-education-store/
 - @Lief1250:
Thanks a lot! Very much appreciated- By the way, if I order through the educational website, is it still eligibility for claiming the gst at airport?
 - @bargainhereicome: If you pay GST you can claim it back. Students pay GST and students are allowed to go overseas.
 - Nope, add the S9+ to the cart then proceed to checkout. The display prices on the page seem to be discounted further in the cart.
 - Damn must have been a special as now even when checkout page and entering delivery details it is at $1,214.10.
 - i get $1214 too :(
 - Edited

 - even primary school, give you and edu.au email now when they give you your laptop …. be nice to your nieces and nephews.
 - Very interested to know where to find this deal
 - link/info?
 - Thanks very much for this heads up @mxlmxlmxl . I wasn't aware of the student discounts and in true Ozbargainer fashion, I cancelled my existing pre-order and placed a new order with my .edu email address today. Happened to be double cashback now too vs when I ordered last week so double win :) - Thanks again! - where did you place the order? Do you mind share it?

 - My email ends in .edu and not .edu.au so doesnt work :'( Any way around this?

 - battery life is worse than the s8 based on reviews.
 - so better paying the $80 more for australian stock - $200* - i was told 1079ish at samsung kiosk unless that was a pre order price

Snapdragon or exynos?
