    171.50 % Price error :D

    • Do Amazon give credit for price error always or one off case?

      • Possibly only when they first started in oz, I doubt whether it will go on forever, no voucher for the last price error.

  • +1

missed out on the Bose so hoping for this or a $50 voucher…
    thanks op

    • what if we get all 5 colours = 5*$50 = $250 voucher ;-) ( Being Greedy)

  • Not worth all the hassle of receiving a fake device from China and then having to prove it to Amazon.

    • +7

It won't be much of a hassle when 100+ people put in a claim. It will be quite obvious to them.

    • +2

Its an Apple product so shouldn't be hard to take a visit at your local Apple store to verify. Besides, it comes with W1 chip so you can verify that it should pair automatically with your iPhone.

  • Ordered

  • Ordered one. Not sure if i should cancel it fearing that it may turn out to be a fake one ;)

      • +5

If you are concerned, can always bring it to Apple store to verify it and get a letter from Apple store to substantiate your claims with Amazon. Besides, if you have iPhone, you can check it straight away if the headphones should pair automatically, since it has W1 chip by Apple.

      • do i need to pay for the return shipping if its fake?

  • Ordered

  • Funds just came out of my AmEx. Might actually get shipped lol

  • Anyone's card been debited? And say it arrives, is there any clear way to tell it's fake?

    • +3

once you received it, download the updater from http://your.beatsbydre.com and plug it in, if it gets recognised then it's real

    • +1

      See my reply above.

  • u guys choose Standard or Expedited Delivery ?

    • standard

      • how to tell if they ship from china or not ?

        • I guess you have to wait until you get your tracking number (if you do get one)

  • +1

    price back to 399. damn

    • +1

try reloading it a few times, it happens

or you can try the other colours

      • Managed to get 2 in an order. Amazon seem to have now put a stop to it.

  • I would never buy this garbage willingly, but since it's a price error, I'll try for credit

  • +1

Won’t add into cart for me…

    • yep all gone

  • +4

    https://www.amazon.com.au/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me%3DA3T5MRBS…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me%3DA3T5MRBS…

  • +4

Had no idea that Amazon AU allowed Chinese sellers to sell on their platform - thought it would be shipped from their warehouses in Australia…

  • +2

absolutely no chance these are legit at that price….

  • +3

$171.50 Shure 535 from the same seller.

    • +1

Was about to for through but pulled out at last minute. Too scared they're fake and trying to prove could be a pain in the ass

      • I was going to pull the trigger too, but it's hard to prove fake. Unlike Beat that you can always check it in the apple store.

        • Yeah not willing to risk for $171.
Will watch to see what happens

    • How do you prove if these are a fake or not?

      • +2

when it comes & the logo says MEATS

        • No, I mean how to prove that the Shure 535 are fake or not.
For Beats we can take to Apple, what about Shure 535?

        • +1

@congngo: I think you can ask their support to verify if they are real

        • @jwilthethrill: OK, Thanks.

        • +2

          @congngo:
i don't think u need to prove is a fake, seller need to prove its real when u make a fake claim, and i don't think they can.
Shipping from hongkong they should be selling an asia version if its real, but in the photo and description its an US version. Pretty much guaranteed is fake if they actually send one out from asia.

        • @samelight: I purchased fake board game (Catan) while ago from an eBay seller. I had to prove to eBay that it was fake.

        • @congngo:
with amazon u dont have to,
plus u could just reg it on shure's website, if the serial number doesn't work, then thats ur prove.

        • @samelight: Thanks. I ordered one.

    • I had the Shure SE535 before I upgraded to the SE846.
I can't recommend these awesome IEMs enough (if they're legit)!
I paid more than double this price for them lol

  • Preparing for shipment. Anyone else the same? It may also can canned if it’s a pricing error.

    • For me, it says
“We're preparing your order. Carrier information will be updated soon.“

    • Yep, on the Bose deal I have "Preparing for Shipment"

      Delivery estimate: Monday, 26 March 2018 - Thursday, 12 April 2018 by 9:00pm

    • +11

Looks like someone's salty about missing out

      • -4

Nope i saw this deal minutes from being posted

  • The best part of this thread isnt the price its the fact that these are studio headphones that have a 'flat' frequency response and everyone thinks they are getting a deal for something that isnt intended for everyday casual listening (producing). Granted Beats arent that great to begin with but these with the lack of bass sound awful in general. Solo3 are miles better for the average listener

    • doesn't really matter what it sound like, as long as its real then u can resell it if the sound signature don't suit you.

    • +1

Beats are not for music production… 'studio' is just a marketing thing. They are the top tier Beats headphones.

  • I got charged for mine! Mainly got it to see if this W1 chip is as great as it sounds.

    • That w1 chip is great makes pairing an ease

  • +3

Back in stock with lower price of 168 dollars. bwahahaha

    • +1

      Yup ordered.

  • +2

Check another 2 hours probably drop to 148

  • should i get it for my android ? or wait for a price error on sony 1000 mx2 :-)

    • what about 2 price errors :)

      • yeah .. that would be nice
anyways .. ordered Beats Studio 3 now.. while I wait for a Sony price error.

  • +1

    Ordered 2

  • -2

Have to be fake. I’d strongly advise against purchase.

      • Are you down to waste 1-2 weeks of your time getting a refund?

        • "In addition, we do not pay sellers until we are confident our customers have received the authentic products they ordered. We may withhold payments if we determine that an Amazon account has been used to sell inauthentic goods, commit fraud, or engage in other illegal activity." - Amazon

        • @Jaso n: There will still be an annoying amount of time required by you to apply for your refund. I'm not saying you won't receive a refund. I'm just saying it is a complete waste of time. Seller must either be scamming or selling fake items judging by their other listings, multiple accounts and zero feedback.

    • +1

You misunderstood. People here bought because they know it is fake.

  • This actually only $379 from Kogan ,grey import. I'm expecting more from a beat

  • +1

    Now it is $166 w t f is going on. ?

  • Purchased 2 of blue one

  • This SHURE SE535 Special Edition In-Ear Headphones is also back in stock from same seller for $171 which is $649.99 from other seller

    https://www.amazon.com.au/SHURE-SE535-Special-Ear-Headphones…

  • -4

Could be legit. Sounds like a loss leader? To shake the Australian retail space ?

    http://www.news.com.au/finance/business/retail/online-retail…

    • +2

if you look at the same seller, the other items they sell are very suspicious. there are hypebeast shoes reselling over $1000 and originally retailing for $300+ going for $160 …
