  They are showing as free in the web links you provided, but in the actual store in iTunes they show as $5.99 AUD??

    This was free for Monday, so it was free until Midnight in each timezone.

  You need to be in the US store to get this free. Guess its free for OS residents. Could be that there is different timing for the freebie, maybe as its still yesterday in the USA.

  Whatever sign in as US (probably need an US account which maybe worthwhile having anyway.) Hope that helps

  I got this last night and it was free. Must have expired and gone back to its original price already. And FWIK the weblink page of the appstore update a little bit slower than the store so its is showing the free price instead of the now current cost of $5.99

  My main concern with these 2 "free" apps is that you need Internet access in order to use them. I would prefer travel guides which contains all the data needed (or at least most of the data/information).

    This app has most of the information in the app, so you do not need internet access. All you need is internet access for is the Google map. All the country info, must see locations, and stuff that is near you is stored in the app.

  Use hotspotshield, get itunes US account and login using VPN and you should be able to get it.
