Has anyone imported laptops before, i heard it was an extra 200 dollars on top to import a product such as this. The same laptop on the dell website is $1800
$200 tax on a $1000 item? That's robbery !! FFS, we're paying shit loads of tax already.
10% GST added to (item+delivery costs+insurance and any other duties)for a start. That's about $125 GST added to the $1250 this costs, without insurance.

That's the older version. It has a Gtx 1050 ti. This one comes with Gtx 1060!

Yes, i just bought this laptop two day ago. Same spec with AU warranty.
Get it local. You get better warranty. Dell's warranty is good.
Also you can be certain there's no import tax added. We don't know with this one. It's borderline. And TRS if you're leaving the country.
That postage cost is ridiculous. Great price for the specs nonetheless.
