“I Got One” or Similar Word

It would be awesome if for each deal there was a button where you could press to say that you requested it or applied for it. As right now we have a click counter for people who clicked the deals and also how many people did + or - but no way to determine who actually bought or went ahead with the the deal.

Would be good if you would consider adding it.

Would be handy in such cases to determine if we actually ozbargained the deal.

Could almost make a poll for every deal “did you request or buy from This deal?” Yes or no.

    • This needs to be more known about and easily accessible though.
      Almost no-one uses this feature.

      • Sure, perhaps we'll add it to the front page tips and put a reminder in the newsletter.

No one else can see that though, right?

      • Only yourself.

  • Also you can’t use the functionality on a mobile??

      You can.

Lurkers still probably scalp them and give nothing back.

  • So each deal should have a poll on it?

  • But how would you say tell everyone that you went ahead and purchased say https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/366757 ?

There is no public way to show others you went ahead and bought or applied etc.

You only publicly track clicks and votes.

    • Why would you want to admit to being a North supporter? :)

Maybe it would be helpful to have the none, want, have, had buttons in the product box attached to the deal. Something like totals for each similar to comments? e.g. for comments on deals, 73 total, 53 new.

      • Hahah. Was a random post lol.

Not sure if that would achieve the goal I had in mind. I was thinking more like a poll or simple button to say got it / missed out etc.

  • Merged from I Purchased from This Deal Button / Poll

Hey, wouldn't it be useful to have a Purchased Button to let community members know how many of us have purchased the product because of this post.
Sometimes there are deal with so many positive votes (clever post, or effort post) but no one in the comments say they actually purchase something.

    • Hasn't this been asked (several times) before?
