  • Is this the one I want if we get nbn?

    • +1

If you have fiber to the node (FTTN) this one will work.

    • +3

The Archer VR600 has a built-in VDSL2 modem which will support most NBN FTTN or FTTB connections.
VR600 can also be run as a wireless router by using Wireless Router Mode. In Wireless Router Mode, it will work with NBN FTTP, HFC, Fixed Wireless and Sky Muster Satellite.
If you're still waiting for NBN, VR600 will also support ADSL broadband connections (up to ADSL2+).

  • apparently this has overheating problems

    • Can you recommend one that does't
I am happy to run a secondary dedicated wireless AP but if there is a unit is strong wireless that would be good.

actually runs cooler than my asus 68 used to do,

3t , 2.4g and 5 g does use power but who is willing to turn one of the wireless bands off ?

  • Is this v1 or v2?

    • +3

I bought one from W1 two weeks ago and I got v2.

  • +2

I bought one of these last month. Has been a easy to use and stable router for my FTTH NBN. It does run hot, but I've had no problems with it becoming overheated.

  • Anyone here tried this with the Bonus10 code for another 10% off instead of the 5%?
