To celebrate the opening of the new section of the Darebin Creek Trail, which will finally connect Ivanhoe and Kew via a direct shared path, VicRoads will be putting on a free BBQ (assuming they will be cooking sausages, with bread and sauce included, hopefully onions too) between 11:30am and 1pm on Sunday, March 25 at Sparks Reserve in Ivanhoe. OzBargain Melbourne Cyclist meetup anyone?!
