Humble Bundle #2 with Bonus Humble Bundle #1 IF Pay over $7.50*

300

The Humble Indie Bundle #2 - Pay what you want. If you bought these five games separately, it would cost around $85. AND They just added the Humble Indie Bundle #1 into the Humble Indie Bundle #2! (*If you pay the average price or higher, currently $7.50 OR already previously purchased HB2 before today)

All of the games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

No DRM. There is no time-limit on your downloads.

You can support charity. Choose exactly how your purchase money is divided: Between the game developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, or the Child's Play Charity. Also, if you like this deal, a tip to the Humble Bundle itself would be much appreciated!

Humble Indie Bundle #1 added into the Humble Indie Bundle #2!

If you're an owner of one of the 180,000+ Humble Indie Bundle #2s already purchased before this announcement, you will find a complimentary Humble Indie Bundle #1 on your download page. I'd like to sincerely thank all of you for supporting the bundle and making it a success!

If you enjoy this gift of six additional games, please consider adding more to your order on your Humble Bundle download page.

For new customers

For new purchases of the bundle, the Humble Indie Bundle #1 is only unlocked if you pay more than the current average. If you'd like to pay under the average and increase your payment later on your download page, that will work too. You just need to increase the average at some point to permanently unlock the first Humble Bundle. This is not possible for gifts though, as the order amount is secret.

You will find a new slider that lets you decide how much you'd like to give to the five main HIB #1 game developers (Samorost 2 is a freebie).

A word about Steam

Our Steam keys for the Humble Bundle #1 are a little glitchy: they don't unlock Samorost 2 or the Mac versions of Gish and Aquaria. We will try to fix this but since it's ultimately out of our control, we can't make any guarantees. Additionally, we only have about 150,000 of them. I believe we will be able to get more, but currently, they are on a first come first serve basis. Also, no promises about activating your HIB #1 games on Desura at the moment.

  • They are talking about the first 180,000 which already over and no need over $7.50.

    I got it today morning.

    • Yeah that is right, existing owners of bundle 2 got bundle 1 added today already.

New customers must spend $7.50+, subject to change based on the average paid.

      • -1

Yeah they up the price to $7.50 so that you can get both.

        • -1

You can still get Bundle #2 as a new customer for 1c.
The incentive is if you pay the average (currently $7.50) you get bundle 1 as well.

  • I'll also add that after purchasing the Humble Indie Bundle #2 I received a key to redeem the (released) games from Steam via email a few days later.

I think a couple of them weren't there yet but once they are they should be added to our games list.

bloody hell if people pay less than $7.50 that is just dodge…it is worth at least $20-$30 for this, plus the old bundle wow

    THAT IS A BARGAIN!!!

    • -2

I completely disagree I payed only $1 or $2 I can't remember but I'll also never bother downloading or playing the games so in a way I just donated them the money as I will not be using their creations but do believe they need support.

How did I get a neg vote for my comment, I take it someone doesn't believe in donating and needs to receive something in return for their money. lol.

        • -4

Relax, getting neg votes is a part of life.

        • If I relax too much I may miss a bargain, lol. btw I was laughing while typing that 2nd comment but no one could see it. lol.

I already own most of these. Even when they included the humble bundle 1 for free, I already owned nearly all those games too.

Why pay twice for something? Charity? Most of it doesnt go to charity unless you specify so when purchasing. Also, of their two charities:
      1) Locally, there are plenty of fundraisers for kids hospitals already (Ive donated plenty of times) and as such I'm left wondering why these existing charities can't afford a couple of thousand for consoles and a thousand a year for some games. The need for a new charity here is questionable. Sorry to be politically incorrect, but even as a gamer I can't logically justify sending kids money via this particular charity.
      2) The charity to 'defending your internet rights'? That I would donate to, but it's chicken and egg, I'd like to see them do something first. It looked like they are nothing more than a website, couldn't see anything about legal action to date.

If you don't own any, it's worth $7.50 just for the gaming goodness. But that will vary person-to-person. So I have to disagree.

        1) Maybe those existing charities do give sick kids games. Childs Play is worth having because it approaches the charity aspect from a different angle - gamers giving the gift of games - hence why it makes a good fit for the Humble Indie Bundle. Check out http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ - the total raised so far is a bit over 1.8 million dollars. It is just a fun and different way of giving money.
        2) The EFF have been doing a lot for quite some time - 20 years this year. They have a list of their legal action here: https://www.eff.org/cases.

LOOK OUT!! Average price as of right now is currently up to $7.51!! Tempted to neg based on misleading title. :P

    • :D - I did put a * in the title ;)

    • lol the reason being is that it's pushing the average up because a lot of people would have paid less for the packs before hand.

    Worth it for Braid alone.

    • I finished Braid yesterday and I have to say that it is one of the most amazing and captivating platformers I have played in my life.

The deeper storyline is also mindbogglingly amazing.

  • I only payed 1c and i got both :S

    • +4

Well played sir. I gave em a few extra $$ when they added HB1 to my account, but I could afford it.

    • You mean 2c AUD. Yeah, all existing customers get both. It's the new ones that have to pay above the average if they want both.

  • Worth the $7.50 for steam copies of World of Goo, Braid and Machinarium. And you donate to charity…

  • Worth the money for Machinarium alone

  • I paid $1 the for the second pack, but when they gave me the 1st one free, with some pretty damn good games in it, I paid them another $10

  • Awesome deal. Some great apps in here and a great cause.

  • I love the payment concept.. for that alone I'm supporting these guys.

  • I played lugaru. Such an awesome game.
