  The 1st 4 weeks are very very basic, and are not interactive with the person doing the tutorials he is recorded. Read the reviews.

    Yeah, was a bit weird - I had to use a different email to sign up to a second course

  It's just part of a course you have to pay if you want to actually finish it. Rather misleading.

  It is a bit of a con as it is not live and the full course is not free. The retail price is $395.00 for the full course and you do not get that.

  It's kind of like buying a car and it comes without the engine. Sure you can roll it down the hill and cry weeeeee as you slowly come to a stop but are you really driving?

  They will give you the course without access to the notes so you need to listen to the videos to complete the questionnaires. they will give you a certificate at the end.

  If this was offered here in Australia it would fail the ACCC guidelines without question.

    Too bad you only have the live option. If you miss a webinar, you can't view its recording.

      You can access it if you miss it.

      From their FAQ: "If you are unable to attend a live session, the recording is posted to the student area the following day, for you to access whenever you want. The student login area is the page you are led to when you fill in your details on the Shaw Academy website."

        I had a photography class with them. Didn't get any recording later. Maybe that was a one-off case.
