  • is it suit for Alienware R4 laptop ?

  • This is a pretty good deal

  • FYI - not for desktop

  • Is this an early indication that sanity is returning to the RAM market?

    • i dont think so, last week i pre-order a ssd from a local dealer, they advise that the actual price will go higher when they get the product because of the upstream provider

    • when you have collusion and price fixing in the market why would anyone want to lower prices, they dont even need to compete just all keep prices jacked …. its not like another company is gona burst onto the scene to produce cheap ram anytime soon that will compare to the quality of theirs

try to buy one but am not in Melbourne and the delivery cost is crazy! it shows 28 dollars to Brisbane is it true?

WoW, delivery cost kill this deal.

  • $29 delivery is insane!

I bought mine through ebay before I found out about the deal, just realized that I made a mistake lol, on ebay they are selling it for $255, the price on their store directly for this is really cheap. There is even a variety of choices for shipping options. I just want to help people out and that is why we have ozbargain :)

    • Unfortunately someone mentioned they would refuse to honour. Thanks for sharing though.

  • is it single 16GB or 2 x 8GB?

    • it has options for both: single 16GB is showing up as $99 for me. While single 8GB is $56.
So for 2x8GB you'll just have to add 8GB twice.

But yeah, like others mentioned above, the delivery is insane at $25 (for 1x16GB) or $36.50 (2x8GB) to NSW.

Having said that, overall final cost is still lower than other sellers. Good find OP.

  • No good for 2017 iMac. Bugger.

    • Is anything even upgradeable on Macs anymore?

      • +1

        RAM is easier than ever.

        • must be just the macbooks then mine came with a warning saying buy the best you can afford cos you cant upgrade later haha.

        • @astrotrain: RAM’s pre-soldered to the motherboard in the lappies.

  • This would be great for a barebone NUC. I just bought one - luckily I live nearby so can just collect from the shop.

  • Great price, hope it's a sign of things to come but probably isn't.

  • The price changed

  • Will these work in synology ds918+?

Just called them, and they said its a pricing error, no stock. all the orders will be refunded

    • That would be awful. I paid for two and missed another deal.

      • Have users who purchased this had their order refunded/cancelled?

        Thanks

        • My order was cancelled. They said it is out of stock, which is not the case as it is in-stock on their website with higher prices.

        • +1

I contacted with their salesman, and he hang up straight away after I questioned about the fact the it is actually in stock on their website.

        • @RimofLeo:

Thanks for confirmation. Moved to forum now as price error.

  • I bought 2x8GB modules for $50 each last year. What has happened?

    • They went up by $6?

      • Where is it for $56? I buy 10!
