Are Products from Bevilles Worth Purchasing?

Looking to gift pendant to partner and came across few heavily discounter items at Bevilles.

Has anyone got experience with Bevilles as their standard price appears to be exaggerated.

I shortlisted following items

I clicked the links expecting to see Kettles and Toasters, those are the type of gifts you should be gifting to a loved one.

IMHO Bevilles fall into the category of over-priced, mass produced junk jewellery

    • how do you measure value in jewelery ?

Intrinsic value is the starting point. For example, if it is 9ct gold jewellery then calculate the gold price per gram and see what they are charging for the product. At the moment 9ct gold has a value of approx $A20 per gram, typically you will see 9ct (solid) gold bracelets retailing for around $A80-$100 per gram.
The stuff at Bevilles is typically cheap gold plated junk jewellery.
As an aside, take a trip to the Middle East where you can buy 18ct-24ct gold jewellery at the spot gold price plus a (typical) make-up price of just 5%

    Value is subjective
