Can I Use Nighthawk M1 from Telstra for Optus Sim Pls?

I have 400gb data from optus. Is the nighthawk M1 locked? Can I get it unlocked if so?

    I don't think the M1 has many of the Optus 4G bands. Only Telstra sell it, don't they?

    Simplest way to find out whether it's locked it to put an Optus sim card in it. You say you have 400Gb of Optus data, so you must have an Optus sim.

    Yes, I use Optus sim on my Nighthawk M1.

      Great.Thanks. just bought M1 from Telstra. Works perfect. Wifi is too weak from M1 therefore I connect it with my R7000.

        I tried putting Optus SIM in mine …. just gets stuck on loading Optus.com.au website and blank screen. How to fix ?

    It was from Telstra, I bought it second hand from gumtree. And yes it was unlocked. Now the updated firmware gets rid of the Telstra branding.
