[NSW] Ozito Power X Change 18V Cordless Lawn Mower & Grass Trimmer Kit $299 @ Bunnings (Marsden Park)

160

Bought one at Bunnings Marsden Park NSW today and seems like a good deal.

Kit contains:
2 x ECO chargers
2 x 2.0Ah batteries
20 x Trimmer blades

The mower is listed online for $299 but comes with fast chargers instead of Eco chargers.

Cannot find the grass trimmer online so don't know how much it's worth.

Enjoy!

    Good first post OP.

2.0ah battery in a mower wont run for long.

  • How much is the normal price? and Can these be refunded if i am not happy with its performance?

    • This is probably a promotion so no normal price. I guess you could return it if not fit for purpose.

I LOVE all my Ozito Power-X-Change tools however the Mower & Trimmer just dont do it for me. Wish they did because this is a good price! Sh*tty plastic strip blades instead of line on the Trimmer and the Mower just looks & feels like a toy. Such a shame.

Mower is ok for a small lawn but the grass trimmer is useless due to the plastic piece blade. Can’t trim lawn edge at wall or tree trunk as it will break and flick off and could be dangerous if you got kids around.

      Never had that problem

      • It trims fine but edging is problematic as the plastic strip is worn out very quickly. Battery performance is good and the battery charge remaining indicator is very handy as well.

    Grass trimmer is $79 (https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-power-x-change-18v-grass-t…)

And the kit with 2amp and eco charger is $125 (https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-power-x-change-18v-grass-t…)

I also love Ozito products. Great value for money and does a decent job.

Did anyone notice the trimmer is different to the separately sold model? Doesn't look as nice

      • Yeah good pick up.
        Older model maybe?

    Ozhitto

    • Theres nothing wrong with Ozito products for around the house and they have a 5 year no questions asked replacement warranty on their products and a 3 year replacement warranty on the batteries too………….some of the big brands don't even offer that sort of warranty

@ozvalue, Is there any logic or experience behind your remark or is it just a speculation / cheap shot?

I've got the lawnmower but I think mine is one size up with the 4.0ah batteries. It's pretty good but I don't have a huge lawn. It does struggle in the longer grass, it cuts out if it gets too tough so I find I have to go over long grass more than once and change the cut length setting, or just cut my grass before it gets too long.

Yeah the bigger one if you keep the grass cut regularly does a great job and are so light BUT this is the lower powered, narrower cut, smaller wheels, crappy catcher etc. version.

    • Yes I have the bigger one too and I agree it cuts pretty well

  • I'm pretty invested in the ozito xchange ecosystem, but not keen on the mower.

I want the big mower cheap - on its own. promote them and we will come…..

  • Not keen. Partly because i don't want a trimmer with plastic blades (so really that means it's not discounted unless i sell the trimmer). And 2x2Ah yikes. It's just bad imho

  • There are quite a few at Thomastown, VIC.
Don't know whether it's worth it or not but I've bought one - will try it out.

    • Hi mate , how was the mower, is it any good to use for a small lawn < 100m2

      • This mower was better than I expected.

Comes with two normal chargers which charge batteries in 2.4 hours.

Has quite a plastic feel - although the upside is the light-weight. Mower is powerful enough for a small lawn.

Cut width is narrow as expected but a few more back and forths will do the trick.

        Adjustable height works well.

Overall I'm happy in the first month of ownership.

        • Great, thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll keep an eye out

  • Guys,

Is this the smaller model? i.e., Smaller - 330mm cutting diameter, 30L catcher, 11.85kg
