I have no use for this but I want it.

      Spoken like a true addict

      • +5

I rent a whole warehouse for all this stuff. I call it Panda Mart 🐼

        • +2

You could use this to blow the dust off of all your pandas.

    • +2

Gotta get the full set bonus

    • +1

haha I feel the same. Trying to justify wasting the cash on this

      • +2

‘It will be good for the economy’

        • +1

it will boost inflation, oh wait, that's bad
          .

          • @Nugs: RBA: people need to spend money, not enough spending!

Also rba: no not like that!

Dry your car and hair after washing

      • +1

I often use this to blow dry the car and it works a treat

        • Only if water is beading. It won't work on neglected paintwork.

    • +17

If you cut a pool noodle into around 30cm chunks you can stick them in the end and launch them with the turbo mode like giant nerf darts.

      :)

    • You can fly to qld and blow it in my neighbours face…

    • You could use it to blow dry your plane after a good wash.

      • +1

That's actually a really good idea. Alright looks like I'm getting an Ozito blower.

      • You could use these as jet engines, attach it to your plane, and use the air from flight to dry your plane after washing it.

  • +13

This one is a beast of a blower. The jet button is very powerful. I got lucky a few years ago and found the skin for $30. Mine is probably an old model now since they've changed the design slightly. Very powerful even on low settings.

    • +1

is it comparable to a petrol blower? love my stihl, but petrol is a pain

      • +3

Next door neighbour has an old petrol one (unsure which brand). His one's going ok for over 10 years(with some oil leak, regular maintenance etc) But he tried this and he's thinking of converting into battery powered tools now. He was very impressed with the jet function on this ozito. I even use this to dry my car after washing, he saw this and said he can't do that with the petrol one cause it needs to be turned over on an angle and petrol/oil might leak. The power is definitely comparable to petrol one. It chews through the battery on high settings but if you use 4ah batteries, you should be fine.

        • awesome, thank you. I think I'll give it a go. I love the stihl but it's heavy and my mrs (and even I) struggle turning it on. need lots of power for my yard.

          • +1

            @derdew: same. it's heavy with 2 x 4ah battery.

            • @solpiry: Even though it's heavy, is it unbalanced? My older 18v ryobi whisper series is massive at the back with the battery and pain to use cos of how unbalanced it is when you have to tilt it down and fatigue sets in over long period of usage esp after full hour of pushing the mower around.

              • +2

@NachoCheese: I dont find it unbalanced at all. The turbo mode does have some kickback. Leaf blower recoil!

      • I had a petrol stihl for years and it did put in work but yeah… such a pain

    • +8

My $30 one still going strong also, crazy purchase that.

      • +2

Definitely a lucky one. I remember I was on a road trip about 100km away from home and was browsing ozb and saw the deal popped up. The closest Bunnings had a last piece(intact) available. Quickly drove there and picked it up. One of the best purchases ever. Mrs still thinks I planned the road trip just to pick up the blower :D

      • Arguably the best Ozito deal ever. Mine is used weekly, and will certainly replace it (would even pay full price if it broke….)

      • +1

Yeah good times, i got the $30 deal too, as well as a bunch of other gear from cheap ozito deals back then.

I use this blower every autumn and to clean up after landscaping projects. Never really saw it for sale again or its real price until now… Bit of a suprise

      • $29.98 to be exact!

    • +3

Yeah I've got one of the $30 ones. It's as loud as a banshee on turbo but does a good job.

  • +1

This looks like a bloody great deal - even as an owner of ego brand blower lol

    • My other tools are from the yellow brand but this is so much cheaper than the skin only one of the blower I want. Guess I now have two ecosystems

Admittedly my primary brand is overkill for me in the first place

Now if only one of them made electric hammers…

      • +1

        Electric hammer hey?
        Maude hey?

        • +1

She gets me the best peanuts!

          • +1

@Gunnar: This is getting very abstract but I do enjoy accumulating various battery powered work tools.

  • +8

Absolute unit of a blower! It’s an Ozito rebadged version of the Einhell one used by the Mercedes F1 team to cool the cars, if that helps tip the scales on any purchases!

    • With a countless budget, and money-invested on the line… they're using this…? C'mon man.

      • +10
        • -6

Wow, I thought Einhell was a crappy Chinese brand. Now I’m blown away knowing it’s a hell of a brand.

      • +2

he replied with evidence, C'mon man.

    • +5

Oh damn good enough for Mercedes good enough for me!

      • Just a fan, motor and battery. How bad can they screw up?

        • We could ask australian gov to have a shot… pretty sure we'd have 5 royal comissions and 3 AI consultant reports and still no product.
PS: this isn't political, this is a jab at the Aussie "process"

  • Wish they'd make the skin only cheaper. They always have deals on batteries and chargers, I don't need anymore lol

    • +1

I know it's a bit of a pain, but it's relatively easy to sell the batteries on Marketplace for around $40 and you could probably get something for the charger also.

    • They want to flood your home with their batteries and chargers. Then you become one of the sellers on the marketplace.

  • +6

I'm blown away by this deal.

  • This ones great, it's very powerful. I use it to dry my car as well after washing. Been meaning to buy one of the 3d printed nozzles that you can attach to the end.

    • Does it still leave water marks after using it?

      • +1

Got to still dry it with towel

      • +1

Fill a pressure pump with some distilled water then spray it on the car rinsing it after washing with tap water.

        • DIY spot free rinse, very noice

  • +1

well blow me down, this is a good deal!

  • +5

I already have one of these. If I get a second one and strap both to a buba fett costume, will it work as a jetpack? Asking for a friend.

  • Is this better than wolfbox100 ?

    • +7

Harder to maneuver into the post-bidet position.

  • +4

I recently purchased. Is great but the batteries don't last long in turbo mode. Recommend to have a couple of spare batteries charged up if need it for more than 10 minutes.

    • How long do they last based on your experience in Turbo mode ?

      • +1

I get around 15 minutes of nonstop usage - meaning - holding down the trigger and not letting go - straight from the charger to the blower. hope that helps….

    • I use the 4ah and they last quite awhile for me in turbo.

  • I wonder if it will fit the gutter cleaner attachment of the 18v?

  • i got 20sqm front & 70 sqm back yard + side walk way…. anyone with experience is 18v one would be enough or will need this ?
dont have any trees - just grass.

  • Thanks, will wait for them all to end up on marketplace 😁

  • Does this have a variable trigger or is it just on/off plus the turbo modes? My current 18v Ozito blower just has on/off, but I prefer the trigger type.

    • +1

It has a dial 1-8 plus the turbo button. It’s a beats compatible to my old 80v Victa blower which had a much bigger battery.

      • Thanks, yeah I just want to be able to use it for lighter stuff as well as have the option for full power, so the variable speed would useful with the trigger.

  • -5

Nice to have a powerful portable blower. But it's a fraction of the corded one in terms of power. But I only used my corded one once as it's too big.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/896335

    • +1

this 36V one moves twice the amount of air to the linked blower

      • Watch out for the units. One is at m3/h while another is at CFM. They should produce a similar amount of air based on the speeds and air volumes provided by the spec sheets.

Yes, I expect higher efficiency on the 36V one considering the price and tech. Assuming it can run at max load for 1/2 hr, it means it draws 16 Ah, if my maths still works.

Tbf, the corded blower can do both vacuuming and blowing. From memory, its vacuum power is not as strong as its blowing power.

        • -1

          Edit: 36V x 4Ah = 144W << 2400W

Don't know what power its motor can draw, but I don't think a battery tool can be as strong as the corded one, for those bots negging in the background.

  • Thanks, just grabbed one

  • OOS now I think

    • Just bought one with delivery through onepass.

    • Might just be your store.
They've been this price for a few weeks now, I've been in at least 4 different stores in WA this week and they've all had plenty on the floor

      • +1

Tried again and it works now. Maybe it got OzB and stock crashed

  • +2

Stil rocking my $30 one from a while ago… Soo good…
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/564606

    • $30 was no brainer

  • +1

Soo good, I got 2 at the time. However, nowadays I find it heavy with 2 x 4Ah batteries and very loud. Recently used a makita dub185 with a 6Ah battery and was impressed with the power, lightweight, compact size and low noise. Will convert over to the dub185.

  • Have it and reported the discount to $179 in the last deal. Great great blower. Heaps and heaps of power and the batteries last for ages. No need for turbo for most of my run.

  • +1

I bough it today. It's incredibly powerful, more powerful than my electric Ozito Blower (when in turbo mode).
I bought it for the convenience as using corded Blower is very annoying. It lasts long enough to clean front and back yard on a large block of land. Very happy with it.

  • Pleased to see my deal has been reposted, but this time even cheaper. Good stuff OP! I had purchased the blower myself and it's solid!

  • does this work with just one battery in? just need it on low speed/power for a small area rather than it it blowing like a jet engine

    • +1

no, the batteries are in series so both are needed to work. But you have a dial to control the blow-factor.

  • Dang I bought the $149 skin only!

  • would this be good to dry a car after it has been washed? or does it concentrate too much in a small area

    • some people mentioned this. it's good to dry car.

    • Only if the surface is slick.

  • Is this a good deal to get into the ozito system? I’m ryobi but want to get some ozito so i can utilise the cheap deals they have

    • +1

Yes, tools are often cheaper but not lesser quality. You'll find battery deals more often. Plus we all know red is faster than green. I'm slowly converting all my ryobi gear to ozito for home use one deal at a time regarding garden tools. Milwaukee stuff stays in the Ute for work.

  • Stock was sold out near me. I ordered for delivery and delivery was free!

  • FYI attaching the long nozzle increases air speed.

    • There is only one nozzle and the length is adjustable.

  • +1

Canberra Airport has about 8 in a stack of Ozito products at the front of store. They are secreted at the back with the 18v ones placed much more visibly . ( It showed low stock before I bought one then nil stock after I bought, but unless 8 went within 5 minutes of me departing the stock checker is wrong ;)

  • +3

Purchased one a year ago, and it's going well. The only thing in my house that blows when I want to.

  • Does anyone know whether Ozito warrany is transferable for online orders where they print your particulars on the receipt?
