Not the same as having a full function USB C port....very different bandwidth available.

Yep I also have a N97/12GB DDR 5 HTPC which is perfectly good for that and retro gaming. $180!

This one with the 680m is similar to mine. Retro gaming up to PS3. It games well, but for $50 extra I would get the P3 Plus with the 780m.

Yes the extra $50 would be well worth the bump. 780M graphics is pretty impressive!

Not bad at all. With the 680M it will do a fair bit of gaming... I have a 7735HS Mini PC and it is similar.

When in performance mode(TDP 35w), the fans are pretty loud. Under the TV so not a huge issue.
