    Finally!

  • +4

Anyone got any experience with this, any good? I got the battery pack from the last deal so need to build up my collection.

    • +7

its a beast. chews through batteries though so 4ah prob minimum

    • +5

Hold steady when you use the 'JET' mode. It will blow you away.

      • +1

have the brushed version, you will need an extra pair of 4ah batteries if this what you are using, produces a lot of air but batteries drain quickly. The smaller 2.5ah batteries are close to useless when using this mode

        • Brushless one will be more efficient….according to the box: 2x4.0 Ah will give you between 20 and 116 minutes….

      • +1

Good for inflatable "Jet" boat? Not very healthy for moving the dust around (without mask), but the councils should enforce replacing the very NOISY fuel versions with quieter;) Those can be used to counterattack noisy motorbikes ;)

    • Its good.

    • its my most used Ozito tool. If it ever does die on me I will be replacing it immediately. Far superior to the 18V version.

    • +1

It's a weapon mate. Jet mode pumps out the air

    • I rate this! It's a monster. I stand in my garage and on turbo mode it blows the sand/leaves all the way to the road.

  • +4

The 18V one with gutter cleaning set is $138 for another option.

    • If accessories of the 36V blower, it would be better. Have to wait for a new product.

  • +2

Can this be used to dry a car?

    • +3

      Yes.

I use mine to get the majority of the water drops off.

The long nozzle & weight do make drying the roof of the SUV difficult

    • +3

Yes but be careful. It has a metal ring on the nozzle and I accidentally scratched my car with this

      • Time to wait for deal on DA polisher and pads.

      • its not for blowing cars lol

    • +1

The Ryobi version of this blower has a rubber tip. Perfect for blow drying the car. But the Ryobi is considerably more expensive. Get some Gyeon wet coat and apply before blowing the car. It will cut your drying time by over 50%.

        Or Gtechniq professional. :)

Get two to jetpack to work!

  • +1

How much was the original price? I thought it was $199 but the deal now is 10x flybuys points.

    • That looks sick!

        Have it (coffee addict)

        Pros
        Very portable, good for camping.
        Relatively small
        Heats up water
Leave and forget will turn itself off after finishing

        Cons
only get two coffees out of a 4ah battery if you lucky.
        Drip style coffee
PIA to clean the basket but you can get coffee bags
Got to wait 2-5min for a cup.

        • only get two coffees out of a 4ah battery if you lucky.

Rough! I don't mind drip, I had a Breville one a while back and could do a whole pot in the morning and share it round at work. It's ok if you're using fresh beans. I love the concept of this Ozito, not sure it would fit in my workflow. I'll stick to my V60 for this sort of thing and just boil some water on a gas stove if I have to. It's cool though…

        • Time to stock 5ah batteries to secure 2 coffees lol.

Just wondering if you received your measuring spoon? I tried but couldn't find mine anywhere.

  • +2

I have this. It's weapon grade, and should be banned from taking it on a flight.

I bought this set many years ago as a package, was eventually quite disappointed. I also think my technique for collecting leaves into one areas are quite poor, so I'd rather just mow since it does the job as well. Are these ones significantly better?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-cordless-blower-ki…

    • I haven't used the one posted by OP but I have the 18v and can confirm it's pretty trash. The 36v has great reviews though!

    • +1

Yep the 18v is a toy, but the 36v is a beast just use 4.0ah or bigger batteries

  • I've been waiting for this to go on sale for ages. In the meantime I discovered that the Australian Land Leech loves to breed in the leaf litter that I've been blowing to the side of our garden paths. So now I use a leaf vacuum instead.

I hereby demand that Ozito make a better battery operated leaf vacuum/mulcher!

    • My resident brush-turkeys take care of the leeches for me.

  • +1

ah damn I pulled the trigger on this about 6 months ago - it's such a good unit!

  • anyone care to offer an opinion vs this one which is much cheaper:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/923929

That is, what would you be missing out on by going cheaper to move leaves?

  • -1

One is a 36V kit (included batteries and charger) vs 18v skin only… They aren't even comparable.

  • +1

    Awesome piece of gear!
I would have pulled the trigger if I have not bought both the blower skin and the 3 battery pack like 3 months ago

  • +1

Makes me wonder how long until their new leaf blower is released here.

    • This design looks interesting. Would be good to have it here.

  • +2

so a $30 discount basically if you value the 2 batteries and a charger at $80. I don't value the charger (have plenty) so i think only $66 worth for me.

not that much of a discount to induce me into spending ~$150 on a blower I'm not sure i need. I miss the deep ozito discounts, this stuff is all just some injection moulding around an electric motor.

    • +1

AGree but but it's really impossible to DIY for this price though. The motor alone would be close the $100+ or more.

  • +2

Just got an email - OnePass members get 10 x Flybuys on this for a limited time as part of the "OnePass Bonanza".

    Worth approx $10 in Flybuys.

  • You should %100 buy this. 36v blower that blows so much air it has recoil? Must have tool for any self respecting man.

  • +1

This is a bargain. Same price as the 18v 4Ah kit:

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-brushless-jet-blow…

    Go the 36v. A beast!!!

  • +3

    Now $179. Amazing value!

    • Yup, makes my after mowing blow down much faster than the old Ryobi $79 one. Was on the fence when this was posted but really glad I got something that has some guts.

      • Bunnings allowed me to swap over my faulty button 18v 4Ah kit ($199) and i got the 36v instead. May have been able to save $20 as well, but I was so happy they let me change models for $0 anyway.

    • Amazing value, indeed! Worth a march with the previous receipt to Bunnings for $20 off I reckon - true OzBargain style

      • My old receipt has the return and then the new one on it for a $0 swapover….don't want to push my luck.

  • +2

It's now $179. Plenty of stock.

    • +1

      As mentioned above

      • +1

        Oops sorry I missed that.

  • Got for $179, confirm plenty of grunt, but air intake at back kept sucking my shirt. Had to hold slightly further away.
