    Groundshog day…

    • haha nice one

  • What 6GB SD835 B28 NFC phone to get around/under $500? Was looking at Mi Mix 2 but apparently it's very fragile and I'm very clumsy and drop my phone 3 times a day. Nokia 8 is only 4GB ram..

    • Am looking for that too happy to pay under 550

I don't think any of 6GB variants of the above is under 550 (other than Mi Mix 2)…

closest is the ZenFone 4 Pro https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/132333023744 (white available too from same seller)

        • Nice info buddy this one looks good any other suggestions? 4gb is fine also otherwise i might go for cheaper option and buy redmi note 5 china editon which will be available for 230 in next few days

        • @awaischb:

          The list for 4GB RAM, 835, and B28: https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nRamMin=4000&nRamMax=4…
(It might not be complete though, as Nokia 8's 64GB version is 4GB RAM, but not displaying in the list…I think it only display the higher RAM config)

I think the most affordable will still be Nokia 8 (of which there should be an existing deal post)

        • @zrmx: cool not bad i have to buy something today

        • @awaischb:

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/360877

I think that's the cheapest at the moment with local AU warranty (import stock, warranty provided by the local merchant, better than buying from oversea merchant).

Good luck and happy bargain hunting.

        • @zrmx: right i checked that phone already but its camera reviews are average asked the people who already r using it :( even i cant find a deal on xiaomi mi note 3 or oneplus 5 or 5t

        • @awaischb:

Unless you increase your budget lol

Sales will always come around (i'm guessing the next big one will be Mother's Day i.e. May or end of April). If you really want a higher specced phone within 550, the options would be limited, if not waiting for them to drop.

Either go for a lower spec one, or hold onto current phone for now and wait, OR compromise lol

Higher specs, higher price (and consequently, top spec top price)

        • @zrmx:i am ready to compromise i will go for xiaomi mi note 3 it costs 370 i think what do you reckon

        • @awaischb:

The phone actually never came onto my radar until just now that you mentioned it (ah, no band 28, although I personally don't fuss about B28. It has sufficient frequency support )

It looks really good for the price, both spec wise and look wise. It just earned a spot in my recommendation list in the premium mid-range category.

        • @zrmx: yes i dont fuss about the band 28 also have used xiaomi already and pretty satisfied with them there camera has got a very good dxo mark as well

        • @awaischb:

Just one tiny catch that all the eBay sellers for the phone at the moment don't seem to have a local AU ABN/office for warranty related matters. I don't have any experience myself regarding chasing up overseas warranties, so just that bit of consideration and decision making with your own experience and others'.

          Good luck.

    • Just get the phone you like and get 10% off on a rugged case?

  • Noob Q - can I buy now and pay after 10am to get discount?

  • +1

I'm waiting for the 20% Sitewide. But it's not coming!

    • It will, in 2.5 years.

      • +1

American eBay had one literally 1-2 weeks ago. Too bad i didn't have a residential address, otherwise i'd be all over it.

        • +8

Sorry to hear you are homeless.

        • Is the address requirement to have a US eBay account, or the discount limited to purchases that ship to US only?

          There's always freight forwarding…

  • +1

Thanks OP. I'll make this prominent on my Seiko post.

Wonder if this code combines with the PICK5 (targeted?) code?

    • +1

      PICK5 isn't targeted.

    • Codes do not stack.

It's almost like a crime not to use discount code when purchasing on ebay nowadays…

I am still waiting for eBay 20% off Sitewide. I have plenty in the checkout basket.

    • I heard that they purge the basket after 2 years ;)

      • Probably the shops disappear before then. :) Happy Easter.

  • For some reason the code isn't working for me. I have $76 in cart and it says i have to spend more.

    • Does the $76 include separate shipping costs?

10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $75 or more

      • free shipping. I ended up using pick5, saving $3.25 instead of $7.50 :(

        • I'd be jumping on a chat with eBay. Good luck :)

        • $3.80 instead of $7.60

        • @strangeloops66:

    • same here

This is ozbargain. You buys things not because you need nor want it. Its because the justification comes after the purchase.

Say it with me. Buy first ask why and what for after.

  • Hi from New Zealand. Does this promo code work? There are frequent promo codes for eBay.com.au but they never seem to work for me and I assumed it was because the items were shipping from China/Chinese sellers. However I see from comments here that I could be wrong about that and that anything on eBay.com.au (even if it comes from an international seller) should be eligible for the discount?

    Can someone please confirm?

I wonder if it is because I am based in NZ but as there is no eBay NZ, we actually get directed to eBay.com.au by various sources so I assumed we would be eligible for discounts on eBay.com.au (it doesn't mention otherwise in the T&Cs?)

    • Only thing in the T&C I can see that might prevent you from using the code is that "You must be an eBay.com.au registered member." I see nothing along the lines of restricted to Australians only. You can still buy from overseas and use the coupon as long as it's all one currency and is the minimum of $75 https://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/p10easter?_trkparms…

  • is there any good drone deal??

  • Offer ends at eBay's discretion

That sounds better since there have been so many 10% off sales recently

    • I guess ow ebay shop will just have to be removed if this becomes permanent.

  • The Americans get a better deal with 15% off and only a $25 minimum spend

    • +1

Probably because they've all got guns.

  • May I know that 10% off applies to Kogan plan?

  • Tried the code but get "the code is no longer available"

  • Yep no longer working.

  • Great, just as I "Make and Offer" and got it accepted, now it's expired =( Oh well, at least my offer was pretty much 10% off anyway. Will wait around a couple more days in case another Easter coupon pops up ;p

    • yep fingers cross

  • Won a watch off ebay US this morning at 6.30am WST (9.30AM AEST). sale price was roughly $2.9k aud but ozbargain showed code as expired, tried anyway and it reduced the final price by $270. This was for a watch that has historically sold for 4k+ aud. Proud I nearly maxed out on the discount for this code ($300) too haha.

    • +2

Did you factor in Duty for importing an item over $1000 ? It could cost you more than your 10% discount.

      • Covered, not new to watch shopping and dealing. It was a vintage item. Had it labelled as parts and valued under 1000 ;)
