There hasn't been a deal on one of these in a while so I asked the rep and they kindly provided 200 pieces. Lightning sale and therefore limited availability so no complaints if it runs out quickly, however it should be an Ozbargain exclusive code. Get in quick.

This is almost as cheap as ever. I think it has only been cheaper once at 0.40USD but most deals have been more expensive.

Don't forget cashrewards to earn a cent or two!

Went thru 10 of these from various online stores..5 doa.

You must be unlucky, as I've got 3 and all work fine. Battery only lasts about 2 hours which is why I have a couple to swap them over when it runs out. Otherwise I have found them great value for under $1.

    • +2

why did you keep buying them after you had a couple DoA?

    • I got 1 out of 2 DOA, but the fix takes only a few seconds once your soldering iron is hot.

The battery is loose and can break off in transit, so a dab of glue is good.

  • .. I’ve got 2 from last time .. does the job for the price .. a bargainnnn

  • Shows as USD 0.59 after coupon. Decisions, decisions…

    • +4

      Untick insurance

      • Didn't even think to look at that! Another USD 0.09 lesson learned! :-)

  • never worked in my car to my phone…

  • Ordered one and hope it'll work well

The deal killer is that you can NOT use these at the same time they are charging, which makes them inconvenient for me to use at all.
You could buy multiple of them and then exchange as their batteries run out, but then you will have to charge all of them too.
Can't be bothered, recommend just using AUX connection. And you get better audio quality too.

    • +1

I set it up in the car to listen to music through occasionally. It's a bit of a hassle and very fiddly. AUX is better.

Not true! This has already been disproven - Read comments in past deals (others claimed that too) - but works while charging.

There are many units that look the same but function different. Some older models may not work while charging & make different sounds when connecting (eg voice rather than sound).
I have 6 from deals late last year & all work while charging. One never leaves it's charger.

Using one as Bluetooth headset while charging now!

None have ever been used in a car (already have Bluetooth head unit), so title may mislead others how useful these can be in other applications like adding 3.5mm earpiece or headphones to make wireless headphone (good cheap setup for kids), converting old stereo into Bluetooth speaker, etc.

      • On recent models, you need to insert micro-USB power BEFORE turning device on, then turn on device - works (charges & plays).
Inserting power cable while playing does not work - turns off (just charges).
As I described in a previous deal.
Confirmed again by checking these instructions on unit received recently.

    • Mine seems to work whilst being charged, I think. I never unplug it from the charger. Sometimes when I get in the car it won't turn on, I think that's because it needs a tiny bit of charge first.

I've been using it - works great!

  • So u plug this in to the cig lighter via use then use iPhone via Bluetooth to connect? Seems easy enough

    • Plugs into auxialary and phone connects to it via Bluetooth, I think the device is powered/charges via the cigarette lighter? Or just USB? Can't remember

  • Have one of these and it works OK but not great, sometimes takes a few goes to get it to connect. Can't complain for the price.

  • why is this $1.32 on mine?

    • Same here, getting the below message when the code is applied

Sorry, your coupon has exceeded the maximum limit for usage.

    • -1

Something to do with your username?

  • -1

Coupon exceeded maximum limit . I guess deal expired

  • Reported Expired.

  • Can you use this to connect to an old hifi without bluetooth?

    • +1

Of course - not just for cars!

The 3.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug adapter unplugs, leaving 3.5mm socket.

Use a 3.5mm plug to 2 RCA Plug cable (sometines in cheap deals) & keep device plugged into USB power. Have set one up.

Using one as ultra cheap wireless Bluetooth headset with 3.5mm headphones plugged in.

Sound quality isn't fantastic, but better than some cheap Bluetooth speakers I've used.

  • Any more?

  • I just bought one and using the code 'LITBB30' the price became from USD $0.99 to USD $0.50. Getting my email confirmation, I was charged USD $0.99. This is with free shipping and no insurance. Mmm, I wonder what's with the change from the checkout amount to the actual amount taken out?

BTW thank you OP. Got one of these before and it's utterly useful and getting lots of enjoyment from it.

    • I had the same thing with the invoice but my card was still only charged $0.50USD.

  • If anyone knows how to get it to power on while charging please let us know.

    • Already discussed in bold above. Confirmed it works on this device delivered by this supplier this year.

      • Thanks. This is bad news as I ripped the battery out of the old one (non-voice) to try and force it onto power in. This failed. The new one has voice and is probably the older one. Haha, my wife was right again!

  • +1

Mine was perfect until i had to charge it. Battery is dead within an hour or so. Sad but I did only pay $1.50 lol

  • Does anyone know if I can connect this to my Samsung smart tv which is clearly not Bluetooth smart and then connect it to headphones so I can watch tv loud please ? The headphones can be wireless too but not sure how it will work if there is no interface in this case . Thanks for posting the deal and thanks for your help in advance guys !!

    • +1

No, this will only receive a Bluetooth signal and then output it via the 3.5mm aux connector. Good for car stereos that have 3.5mm aux-in but no Bluetooth built in, or older home stereos/ghetto-blasters so you can transmit music off your phone to them (as long as they have 3.5mm aux in.

  • I'm complaining lol.. I MISSED OUT :(

    • Now us99c!

  • Does this work as a bluetooth broadcaster/splitter, ie connect 2 pairs of wireless headphones to an iPad?

    • Do you understand the word receiver?

You could use it to connect wired headphones.

  • my PC doesn't have Bluetooth. can I use this to connect my bluetooth headphones with my PC?

    • NO! See response just above - it's a Bluetooth RECEIVER (see deal title) not a transmitter.
