  • is it fast charge ?

    • This is 10w and according to this article the Samsung's need 9w for fast charges and the iPhone X needs 7.5w. So this should be good. First time I'm dipping my toes in to wireless as you are not losing much if it's rubbish given that it's less than $8

      • I think this will charge all non-apple devices fast, but I doubt it will give the 7.5w for the iPhone; happy to be proven wrong though!

  • Cheers, ordered!

Y u no show side profile pic of Ultra Thin charger??

    • It says that it's 8mm. Seems good to me.

  • Very tempted to get this… but am worried about wireless charging shortening the life span of iPhone, with the overheating issue and all… does anyone have any experience? I plan to use the same phone for at least 5 years

    • How? It no different from plugging in

  • I actually bought an anker wireless charger specialised for iPhone X for $30… Feel ripped off now…

      anker is good brand.

I don't think you can compare an Anker w-charger with something like this.

    • Yeah I guess Anker is a good brand. I used to buy a 1.8m lightning cable from them and there was connecting issue at around 15 months time. I told them and ended up with another new cable with new style as the warranty was 18 months. They also paid the postage. Overall the warranty gave me confidence.

  • I don’t think it will charge the iPhone faster. If you look at the back of the charger it says:
    Output
    9V/1A and
    5V/1A
(please correct me if I’m wrong)

    • Yeah it did concern me greatly when I woke up with my iPhone X at 50+ degrees. Don't risk any generic wireless chargers, protect your investment.

Agreed. If you pay $1500+ for a mobile, don't be stupid and paying 8 dollars for a generic charger (wireless or wired) it's just not worth it.

Better to spend more money on this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/369280

Charge your $1500 iFruit with a $7 wireless puck? Lolno.

  • Does anyone know whether these have an annoying blue light or make any noise while charging? I'm a light sleeper and this would drive me crazy
