  • Unsure what level HDR it has

    • I'm not sure either. But I know it can read HDR metadata. Something I play on my PC that looks too dim without HDR looks normal on this TV.

      • I have the 55 inch samsung, I believe it is an 8 bit panel with HDR support…. can't notice much difference with my ps4 pro with hdr or not…. is still a decent panel though and smart features are fast and good. Some back light bleed issues on these… have tried a few replacements, all replacements not mcuh better than the rest… I went the hisense n7 75 inch when it was below $2500 on ebay in the end.. Better panel IMHO, no backlight issues etc

        • how about off angle greyness , whats the viewing angle like

        • @ugoagogo: Not too bad.. hisence bit better.. Samsung will still make you happy…

Came here just to ask the same question.

I think N7 any day but you won't find it for 2300 (except that one aberrant deal recently)

What's the difference between 6100 and 6103? I have the 6100. I like that it turns on instantly from stand by.

I suggest turning sharpness down. It starts at 50% by default and it makes faces look like paintings.

I think difference is the remote and bluetooth…

      • The smart features are also updated to support voice recognition in the 6100.

        • wait, the 6100 is the updated version of 6103? Weird naming.

    • I only have the 65" but love the instant turn on too. What picture mode do you use?

If you have a Chromecast Ultra and Google Home, any requests to watch something on the Chromecast will instantly turn the TV on too.

      • I use standard. Many people like vivid/dynamic but I don't think that mode produces accurate colours. I care more about accuracy than niceness.

You don't need chromecast. It has everything CC does built in. But nice feature I guess if you're a Home user.

Looks like The Good Guys has also dropped their prices on the Samsung 75" MU6100, MU6103 and MU7000 TV prices to match Harvey Norman's prices.

  • will this fit in a mazda2 ?

    • Nope.

    • No chance.

The box itself is huge. Also should be transported standing up.

    samsung 75" 6103 at jbhifi now $2238

  • Thanks. I bought one 2 weeks ago from harvery norman for 2670 after getting them to price match appliance online (which they reluctantly did at that time being in perth where the policy is that they dont match eastern states generally). After seeing this though i went back in and got the difference refunded, and kept the original add-on of free delivery from my initial negotiations :)

    Cheers OP!
