  • Edit oops double post

  • wow great deal
better than the hp 3032tx or watever it was called
    but its a toshie!

    shame about the resolution

  • i thought clive peeters went bankrupt and close all their stores

  • can someone post a picture of the invoice/ the advert here pls??

  • Unfortunately the battey life is woefull. Don't expect to spend much time away from a powerpoint.

    • That's with all i7 laptops.

  • I was in Ringwood store yesterday arvo & they had just sold their last 1. Are Toshibas any good? What's the best brand to buy?

  • This is a great machine I picked one up. In all my research I found the only negatives were the shorter battery life and that it is not full HD. I usually keep my laptop in the same spot with only a couple of exceptions so the battery life for me was not an issue. So unless you are using this for serious 'Nerdcore' gaming this is arguably the best computer stocktake bargain out there right now, IMHO. For myself I reckon i wanted to get a Toshiba for hopefully a greater number of years of use.

  • I bought this laptop for $1199 from Clive Peeters 10 days ago.

Thanks to this post I was able to take the receipt back to CP and claim the difference coz of their 14 day price guarantee.

    I'm happy :)

As for the laptop, it has a very poor battery life (1hr 15min) as already mentioned and gets very hot. I bought a laptop cooler from MSY for $12 to help vent it. It's graphics ability is also very mediocre so don't expect to play newish games like bc2 on it.

However, for the price, its very cheap for an i7. I use it for software development which is perfect.

  • Why I can not find this product in their website anymore?

  • Clive Peeters seem to be advertising this laptop with the $100 cashback on TV.
Just saw an ad while watching the cricket.
