    But I havent seen so many 1-star reviews for ages! Almost every recent review was either 1 or 2 stars with comments like unable to customise the types of news to spam and advertising. One for the collection, but not going to be installed..

    News is bad for you. You are literally worse off consuming false narratives, made up stuff and embellished truths.

    The news is made to sell ads and influence and the influence usually makes you worse off eg. voting on the bases of politician's words led to highest power prices in world, constantly increasing tax burdens and no wage increases for 25 years. That's apart from losing money through marketing. And let's hope you aren't naive enough to believe you aren't affected by marketing.

  4.4/5 with over 100 installs can be easily rigged, 5k is better but not enough
