I tried their thermal top before and it's quite nice - much better - more comfortable, absorbs more moisture and more breathable than the cheapies from Kathmandu.
It's also an Aussie company (it seems to be?) and I think we OZbargainers should support OZ business when possible - esp when its products are good in quality and competitive in price
They look pretty thin based off the photos. Would they be any good for a Canadian winter do you think?
base layers regardless of brands are normally thin - so that you can move around easily. I guess it's the material that matters - some material can keep you warm yet it breathes (when you sweat a bit - say when you hike or ski under zero degrees, your body might sweat a bit when you start exercising).
The merino base layers are the best but I heard from the shops that they do not breathe well, so it's not good for me when I hike in warmer places and I expect to sweat a little bit.

Even if you don't buy your snow gear here, I think there are more options in Canada :)
Merinos are the best. Breathable + it doesnt smell even after multiple use.
