    I'd say these are fake

    • Says generic in post

It's ok to make generics but if you slap AKGs brand on the product it's no longer a generic, it's a fake.

Everything generic s a fake of something fyi.

          That's why they say generic

          @bti_jet:

There's a distinction. Generic Oral-B toothbrush heads don't say Oral-B on them. At least they don't claim to be the real deal. It's a fake if they're trying to deceive you into thinking it's the real thing. Generic toothbrush heads don't do that.

These AKG-S8 earbuds, from looking at the pictures appear to be imitations of the real thing, with logo and all. That goes beyond being a generic. Generic is unbranded.

Confirmed fakes.. by everyone who's bought them in OzB.

  • Can't be legit

I purchased these last time the deal was on and they are total rubbish.
I have the version supplied with my S8 and these ones from Zapals are nothing like them in terms of sound quality.
    Would not recommend

These are imitation. Look up "OEM"

  • "The product is a generic(not branded) but it's an OEM version of the Samsung AKG S8 Headphones."

I purchased them anyway, they are cheap for 0.99c [AUS$1.32] i won;t buy expensive they get lost, damaged, stolen all the time

    LONG LIVE 3.5mm plug!

My AKGs are still in the box lol. Prefer BT these days over wired.

These are definitely crap but they beat half broken ones or missing ear buds any day.

The $2 sennheiser deal the other day would have been 10x better.

You can't just say these things and not link. That's like the number five Ozbargain rule.

These are "fake" OEMs. Bought one from last deal and they are just crap. If you are in Melbourne CBD and planning to order this, save your money and pick it up from me for free (original eartips were not used to try out the EPs).

  • I wouldn't pay $2 for these. Bought for my wife as backups, and they actually sound terrible, even my wife thought so. Get an actual brand name for a few bucks more.

Generic and AKG does not come together. LOL

  • I bought 5 of these a month or so ago. Total trash, every single one broke within a week of use.

  • ….And zapals lucky dips, if not zapals crash. Here, it's on 3 wks now with
non delivery .( many averaged for the week )
Done my dough ( 20 or so not delivered ).
Maybe it's A'post, but even they cannot foul it up that much.

    • ….And zapals' delivers.
The postie delivered 10's of zapals into the small pb.
It must've taken a while, and some ingenuity to jam
      them all in.

  • More than 2 months waiting for item to be delivered from zapals. No response to paypal dispute. Very poor customer service.

  • I've bought these & can confirm that they're crap. The sound is very tinny & half the time makes you wonder if one side works or not.

Buy only if you need a namesake spare.

  • i've received these from the last sale, nek minnut in the bin.

  • Just my opinion, but I feel very strongly that sellers of any kind of fakes should not be allowed here. There's already enough of them on gumtree and ebay.

    • he waited 5 years to post this. He must feel strongly about this "bargain"
