    Krispy Kreme - honestly do we need to import these US brands? For things as simple as doughnuts? US obesity? More and more sugar and fat? Oh well, it'll placate Trump.

      We need to import these US brands so we can maintain a trade deficit with the US. Otherwise our export industries will be hit with a trade tariff.

      Sure, choice and competition are good things for the consumer.

      People are free to not eat it. There's a reason not everyone is an obese sugar chaser, we are free to not be if we don't want to.

      It's called international trade. I have no problem with it, as long as they pay the proper amount of tax, which international companies seem to be unwilling to do.

        Ah ok. Thanks for the reply. I meant because there wasn’t the free donuts on SA that business was ok so no need for the incentive.

        That they’re different franchises makes a lot more sense that my supposition.
